Just had an email. Apparently my car has been built and it's on transit from factory to port. Apparently 3-4 weeks it should arrive in dealership. The wait is killing me!!!

Hi, New member here....

Ordered an ST 4drive Lux in Mag Grey last month and been told it could be October. Something to do with model year changes and WLTP. Anyone else in that position.?

Cheers!

There is a whole thread here of people in similar positions.
I ordered at ST in February and ended up cancelling it a week or so ago as there was no news or progress even 3months after ordering.

A few others also cancelled their orders.

We are confirmed! Car has been secured by the dealer from the delivery that was in last week to the UK dock - Awaiting finance doc's and then booking a delivery date - Order on the 14th May this month!

What was your time scales for the lease process? Been a week now since I've heard from them and nothing about finance agreements but the car has been reserved and got a text saying when it will be at the dealership?

Ordered on the 14th May mate - So just over 2 weeks so far, car is in the UK and waiting for finance docs and to book delivery!

Picked 1500 Wednesday and done 180 miles already! So happy with the car and the power is ridiculous. Asked dealer not to clean the outside so I’ve got something to do at the weekend but here are some pictures for now!

Delivery has been pushed forward to Wednesday now :D

Just off phone to Seat and car should be with dealer for Wednesday. Dealer saying will be ready for Saturday...I'm now pushing hard for Friday as current car goes then!

I've mentioned before how disappointing my local dealer has been - first time I've had this with new car purchase/lease. But Seat themselves have been great.

I picked it up on Saturday 9:30am sharp. Not given it a true performance test yet but I'm really impressed so far. Acceleration is fierce, Cupra mode is violent as hell, feather the accelerator and it's desperate to get away, I love it. Also really impressed with its ability in the corners. Like I said, I've not really been able to give it much of a trial but from what I have, it just grips, grips and grips some more. No roll whatsoever. Comfort mode is lovely, the ride is great but plenty of throttle response and growl if you so require.

My favourite bit so far...smoking an Audi S3 from a set of lights. Not just a bit, utterly destroyed it. The guy was NOT happy  tailgated me for the next 10 minutes whilst I popped it back into comfort mode and enjoyed my surroundings with a smug look on my face.

Well I now have a registration, so things are about to happen. Its YJ19.. So Leeds area. Its going to have a few miles on it when it gets to me in Devon.. at least 280 I guess.

Thats fine, its less babying I have to do and hopefully means pops and bangs a little sooner.
