This doesn't make any sense to me?? Launch control is a design feature of the car. How could using something that's built in void the warranty?!?
I’m just quoting what I was told by the dealership when I collected the car. Weather they are just trying to put people off launching so they don’t have to replace as many clutches or if it genuinely voids the warranty I don’t know. Can’t say I use launch control much myself as i think it spins too much on the off and it’s pretty fast without using it anyway.

Ahh I'm so jealous right now!! I've been told to wait until the 7th which seems a lifetime away - 2 full working weeks!

Have fun and let me know how it goes. Don't brag too much :roflmao:

This car is brutal! Had over run and a few pops already!
Just “nipped” to the shop and had it in beast mode.
Pottered around with the wife and baby earlier and could only get mid 20’s for mpg

I’m not one bit bothered though

I don't understand setting expectations the way they have. Surely it's a better sales tactic giving me a longer lead time and smashing it, than a shorter one and getting noway near it. Just be honest with me, tell me there's no chance of May delivery and we can all get on with our lives!

Seems to have been a really popular car with the leasing firms the Cupra. I hope it doesn't go the same way the Golf R did, from it being a rare and beautiful sight to seeing one on every street corner.

I was thinking the same thing. I’ve driven 200+ miles to the Lake District this week and didn’t see one - disappointingly! Did see a few golf R’s though.

Get yourself into West Cumbria and you will see loads of Cupra’s. I generally see between 4-8 a day.

My boyfriend is already sick of my Cupra talk. Not sure how I’d bring up a trip to go cupra spotting ! I just want to see one!! Just one!

Here in Devon I can honestly say that I haven't ever knowingly seen a single mk3 Cupra. There are plenty of fast cars around Exeter, but never a Cupra.

I ordered through nationwide and got a dealer delivery date on the 7th, Car was apparently in stock though?
Nationwide had a bunch on pre-order with limited options and colours. Mine is in the same batch, I have a delivery to dealer date of the 10th.

Haha, you're right there. I'm sure i'll live to regret that decision!
There are plenty of products that can fill them, but Im too lazy to bother with topping them up. The neighbours already think im mad because I actually wash my car occasionally.

Yeah I've already spent a small fortune on cleanyourcar. Got a product called dark matter glaze which got a good write up

Ive still got some Prima Amigo which is much the same thing, but I plan on machine polishing the Cupra when it arrives and then using the 'temporary' ceramic products every few washes (like Gyeon Cure/wetcoat). They are easier than the full coatings, which are a pain to apply.

Does anyone know what this is and where it should live? It fell into my one day old Cupra’s driver footwell when I was driving last night.

Yeah ordered through nationwide.... was yours being built or a stock car?

Stock. Had to go for a stock deal as I've left it late due to my current lease being due back at the end of June but we're going away so needed it mid-June or I won't be about. Only had red, white & black to choose from but I'm happy with the red.
