So I just blacked out my wheels and wanted to if it would look good to black out the logo and headlights. Also is it possible to get the cupra grill on a normal leon and what does sports mode do in the leon. Lastly if my leon is black what colour should I change my interior to and does anyone have pics of great looking interiors to give me an idea ? Thanks again

You don’t need the Cupra Grille I don’t think, you can just have the chrome edges on yours wrapped like I did for about £50. Makes such a difference

You're actually in luck because I've just recently tinted my lights and also wrapped the rear badge in gloss black! I still need to do the actual L E O N badge which I'll probably do using plastidip.

plastidip?
It's basically spray paint but it's removable if needed. I sprayed my badges on my previous car with it and it is quite durable too as long as you've got a decent amount of layers down and for the L E O N badge it'll definitely be easier to do with plastidip.

i was thinking of doing my front Seat logo and the lettering on the back. i want a matte look rather than a glossy one

Yeah the black plastidip comes as matte black so you wouldn’t really need anything else. There’s plenty of tutorials on YouTube about it that you could check out

looks easy enough. i feel like id mess the final peeling steps up though! how is it the plastidip sticks the logo perfectly, but comes off the paint so easily?

I think its mainly to do with the amount of layers you’ve sprayed on. The more layers the better I’d say. About 5 layers should do the trick but if you feel like it’s still not peeling from the side maybe apply another layer or two. If you do find that there are certain spots or overspray that don’t come off, you can use a clay bar or tar remover to remove them. Tar remover definitely worked for me to remove all the overspray I had.

its funny you mention that cause i saw my car - but red - today, and the owner had obviously plastidipped his boot logo. i actually noticed the remains of overspray before i noticed the black badge!

ill probably buy the tar remover before plastidip so i dont have to drive along with a dirty looking boot lid like him.
im hoping hes ordered some tar remover online and hes not leaving it like that
