View attachment 6748 Has anyone put over lays on the Cupra lettering on the rear yet? More specifically a mystery blue car?
IMO the overlays look terrible. I am planning to plastidip the badges in matte black.

And about the infotainment, from the engineering standpoint its as if they never tested it. Its been in production for like 3 years and they still have that kind of bugs. Ok, lets assume that they have a software engineer on their payroll. What does the guy do for years? And they probably have at least five engineers that cant figure out simple bugs that take like one line of code to fix. Something is seriously wrong with the industry.
Sorry for the rant I had to.

P.S. The ‘dead pixel’ on the cupra welcome logo is a clear example of their ignorance and incompetence.

Another annoyance...
Temps not displaying until it gets to working temperature. Why the heck would anyone code it like that?? You can see it displays the coolant temp as 90 on dash.
The fact that I can’t have oil temp displayed on the dashboard also frustrates me. Am I supposed to look on the center screen while going crazy fast to check on my oil temp to satisfy my ocd? But of course I can have fuel economy, radio stations and other completely useless data displayed.
I'm pretty sure you can configurator the layout on the Digi dash so that the oil temp is displayed.
When I change the view to the centre rev counter the oil temp appears bottom right of the screen.but as others have said it doesn't show a reading until about 50°c

Does anybody else's infotainment keep crashing and restarting itself? I use Android Auto and I think every day this week it has crashed and restarted itself at some point. Particularly annoying when you're using it for navigation and you don't know where you are.

Mine crashes almost every day at some point, the display freezes but everything still plays for approximately 5 mins before the head unit reboots, sometimes android auto doesn't restart and it needs the cable pulling. Wasn't sure if it's a phone thing or car thing but hearing now it's widespread in this topic I'd assume my phone is fine

Passenger side door frame, should be in there! Think I’ve read 34/36... but personal choice and what you are using them for I guess!

The oil temperature can be displayed on the digital dash via the following:

i) On the centre rev counter screen display, its displayed in the bottom right of the screen. ii) Alternatively, if you scroll through to the driving data on the dash, you can have it either as a single display or as part of the overview display.

Have you checked oil temperature to be displayed in the instrument cluster? From the infotainment screen select the following:

Vehicle >> Settings >> Instrument Cluster >> Multifunction Display - select 'Oil Temperature'. Not too sure if the default is for this to be not checked - was several months ago since I set mine up?

I had had my car 4 days and the only disappointing thing for me is the infotainment system freezing. If I hold the power button down for 10 seconds it resets itself and then it's fine.

Going to give Seat a call in the morning to get them to look at it.

I see it now.. so its only available in that particular view? Not great but ok, it will do.

Can you get it in the cluster as part of the "Overview"? It only wants to show consumption and trip data for me...

It was checked by default on my car.

On my last 400 kilometer trip i had my front assist activate 3-4 times for no apparent reason. I mean the collision alert, not the autonomous braking. Has anybody else experienced the issue?
Also sometimes it activates when I am costing towards a car in front at 40kmh (approaching the junction for example) but it doesnt when I am coming towards a stopped car at greater speed - around 60-80kmh. Strange behaviour. So far I my experience is it never warned me when I needed it but it has activated for around 20 times for no real reason. 0-20 score makes me want to turn it off as it only distracts me.

And brake assist also activated once while I was parking in reverse with such force that I was sure I hit the car behind, despite the fact that I had my eyes on rvc.

My front assist has never activated for no apparent reason. Maybe your unit is faulty?

I've had this several times as well, you'll get used to it though. Also, I'd rather have it brake unnecessarily once or twice than not brake and crash into something I've overlooked.

So if reversing, it will stop if it thinks your going to crash into something behind you? I have had this happen to me once but not sure why, makes sense but don't want to go and test it!

Exactly. It only happens when you drive in reverse relatively fast.
