Michelin Performance Tyre Group Buy

I’ve got a Cupra arriving in 4 weeks, if I were to pick up 4 of the Michelin’s on these offers and have them fit straight away how much could I expect to sell the OEM contis for? Hoping somebody has a rough idea or has already done it!

I have Conti 5p and yes, on fwd car there is plenty of wheel spin, especially in wet, but you can adjust your driving style. In dry they are fine for me, but it depends on how one drives, What is OK for one person maybe very poor for another.
I would recommend try Conti first and if not happy swap to PS4S (Costco do the offer several times a year)
Also, last time lightly used Conti 5p were on sale here for about 55£ collected

That was me selling them. Bare in mind the 5P's I had where on my 4WD car where as my previous car was FWD with the Super Sports.

Traction was never the issue, it was the overall feel (or complete lack there of) from the tyres, even when not pushing it. (not to mention how noisy they were and the harshness of them).

I have Conti 5 on my car and they are awful i was going to go for Goodyear F1 or Michelin P4s which is the least harsh of the 2 makes

You could also consider Pirello PZeros (or PZ4 as some people say). I had a small accident the other day with a gigantic pothole and two of the factory Contis just shred into pieces with just 1500km on them. Good traction but very delicate tyre for Greece's roads. So I bought 4 new PZeros as I have been very satisfied with the brand in the past and I have to say that the Pirellis are way better in every aspect.

Mine are Audi Quattro (R02) homologated (if that makes any difference) since the factory Contis are also Audi (AO) homologated and were maybe 10% cheaper than the PS4s.

I've not read great things about them on this forum and most suggest the Michelin as a superior alternative which prompted me to think about it. It's a 2 year lease so if I'm going to do it I may as well do it straight away.

The Conti is a premium tyre and decent. If any difference it will be marginal and only on the limit. How often will you be throwing it about on the limit?

What mileage is your lease over? Potentially low enough to never need to change them. £400 you could put elsewhere.

Appreciate you points and I am only debating it at this point. It’s 2 year PCH 30k total miles. I don’t plan on hanging around in it that’s for sure..so tyres will get well used.
I can see what you mean about £400 saved but if I can sell the brand new set of contis for say £300 then it’s more like a £100 upgrade than a £400 outlay.

Is it £100 well spent? It would appear so from what others have been saying.

You claim by emailing Michelin a copy of your invoice - your fitter should have mentioned to you! £100 refund is based on buying 4 tyres.

I've just emailed my leasing broker to ask the dealer if they will swap my tyres over to a set of these when I go to collect. If they say yes I think I will jump on the deal at £105 a tyre. I think I'll be able to sell the stock conti for £90 each on eBay

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 235 35 19 91Y XL are £138.40. So, two tyres after the cashback come to £226.8 fully fitted (£113.4 each).
