Completely agree, had to stop somewhere with the money. I went for the sunroof instead but may have the front lip fitted at a later date. I’ll have this for 4 years so plenty of time.

Went for a similar spec.
On balance the sunroof was a great addition.
Mines already started to creak though.

) funny you say about the creaking. I’ve had my FR with sunroof for 4 years & 99% of time it’s fine but the other 1% it creaks. Sometimes opening & closing does the trick. It seems to coincide with cold weather though.

Yeah I don't notice it all of the time.

When I notice it's at low speeds, especially when setting off.

Just didn't expect it on a new car so soon.

Still glad I added it though, as it works well with the white and does wonders for the interior.

My FR has a sunroof and that sometimes creaks after a few months. I just open it and put some autoglym rubber and vinyl care around the seals and on the bumpy rubber strip on the back of the glass. This stops it creaking for at least 6 months.

Just tried to get confirmation on build week or SLI number and the leasing company couldn't give me any information at all other than the same estimated delivery date I've been given for the last 6 weeks and "Your car should be nearly built by now".

Delivered this morning at 9am.
I’ve only done around 40 miles in it so far but have to say I’m fairly impressed with it. Build quality is definitely a step up from my last Leon and the sound is great. Love the DCC too very comfortable in comfort mode.

Probably the wrong thread to be asking but I’ve tried searching the forum and the handbook for the problem.
The cars mirrors will not fold off the key fob manually by holding the lock button and will only fold by selecting fold in lock box on settings. Is there a way round this as I prefer having the option to fold off the key fob as had expensive issues before with frozen folded mirrors?

Not even close to being safe haha.. I got discount due to my partners car also being insured with esure but it wasnt much I dont think

On a 4drive "no" I'd expect the 4drive logo.

On a 5dr "yes" I have the original red/black flag.

Some have reported otherwise though on the 2019 5drs.

I’ve just taken delivery and can confirm there are no Cupra badges on either the steering wheel or dsg plate. Baffled to who thought that was a good idea. Oh I did get coloured Cupra tags on my front floor matts. Car is fantastic and performance is amazing coming from 2015 FR 1.8 180hp dsg I thought the difference wouldn’t be so much as it is. Has a defect on the paint from manufacture so will get that fixed. My main worry was coming from Seat Sound to base sound system I’d be disappointed but it does the job well with okay base. Not the best sound system but it is good for a stock system.

Finally collection day Golf gtd gone back replace with st lux. Only had to pay £72 for two kerbed alloys. They even let me off with a windscreen crack on the drivers side.

Fair enough, may be that's the current standard - which is a shame.

Never checked my floor mats.

My build wasn't standard as it was a MY19 with MY18 options on it, so it may have differed for that reason.

I had the stock system on my previous 280. It was good just lacked bass.
