What say VCDS or OBDEleven at this menu entry?
Here are my standards:
ENG141656-ENG116608-Außenlicht_uebergreifend-Helligkeitsschwelle Forward-Messung: 46400 lx
ENG141656-ENG116605-Außenlicht_uebergreifend-Helligkeitsschwelle Infrarot-Messung: 0 lx

Also you can check at your mutlimedia system.
The must be an entry where you can set the sensitivity.

I will have a look on vcds , on the multimedia system this is already set to sensitive

Hi, the Leon I'm looking at buying doesn't have auto lights /wipers unfortunately it also doesn't have the wires running between the mirror and headlining. If I want to get the lights and wipers working what do I need to get? I know I'll need to replace the windscreen

For anyone looking to add rain sensing wipers to a Seat Ateca, you may need a different RLHS sensor to the ones mentioned in this thread. 5Q0955547 (A or B) didn't work properly on my 2017 Ateca It gave 3 wipes instead of 1, the sensitivity control didn't work and it messed up the regular intermittent wipe too! I eventually found out the correct sensor is 81A955555A which is commonly fitted to Audi A4's and A5's. All the OBDeleven coding is the same as for facelift Leon's.

I have OBD11 and recently bought both the light light/rain sensor and auto light switch. What are the instructions to program in auto wipers and lights using OBD11 can it be done?
Thanks.

The humidity sensor advises the air conditioning system of cabin conditions in order to keep the screen from misting. There is also one in the air intake. I have an FR which has the dual zone climate control so can't say for sure that this is present on the S or SE. You can easily tell if the wires are there. They will run in a little trim from the headlining to immediately behind the mirror. The additional cable for auto dimming mirror did not appear in my car not that I'm bothered about that.

You need a new sensor part number 5Q0 955 547 and a new light switch with auto position. Loads of the latter on eBay but ensure they are suitable for the golf mk7. They changed the way the fog light contacts worked from the Mk2 Leon and Mk6 Golf. Doubt youll get a Seat one without paying real money at the Stealers. The golf ones are white light rather than red. I picked a new sensor from eBay quite cheaply. Careful with second hand ones that the seller hasn't confused humidity only with light function as they are very similar.

The sensor can be changed by splitting the trim behind the mirror and removing it. You'll see a join level with the ball joint on it. Once the two halves are off, the mirror will come off its mount by turning it anti clockwise about a quarter turn. You'll then see the humidity sensor immediately behind this, held in with a clip. I decided to also remoice the gel pad behind this and replace it with a new one as I wasn't sure if it was OK for the job. It may well be OK. I dampened a new one to eliminate air and placed the new one with the gel sandwiched in the middle.

You then need to code the sensor to 00095D and disregard the VCDS long coding assistant as it doesn't quite understand this yet. Then tell the Central Electrics Module it has a rasin sensor / light sensor and that it has a light switch with auto position. Then its a case of doing the adaptations to enable auto lighting and activating the rain function of the wipers. I'm afraid I started a duplicate thread when asking for information. If you look for my other thread you'll see the comments from Dean0 which confirmed the right adaptations. Many thanks to him for that.

This is a real easy mod that doesn't involve any wiring. Cost me 50 quid and now I've got auto lights and wipers.
hello do you have the adaptations setting for this operation of retrofit i did all coding steps but i need adaptations setting to finish so ....

Hi vcds gurus! I've fitted the sensor 955559C, I tried to put in the long coding 06885D but it keeps saying out of range. I've done all the steps up to this, the auto lights work but the rain wipers don't. Hopefully someone can help.

Hi.... I've just swapped out my humidity sensor for a light/rain one, 5Q0955547A, and auto wipers now seem to work OK. I haven't done the light switch yet (still looking for one). However, Carista now shows the codes 940292 and 262406. From reading above can I assume I need OBD11 to clear them? Is this possible without the auto light switch or do I have to wait till I swap the switch? I have a 2018 Leon FR.

Hi all I have a 2013 SE which doesn't have dual zone climate control, no sensor in the mirror, nada. Besides the sensor and switch, I'm assuming I'd have to buy a new mirror and the trim that hides it, also more importantly is the wiring for the sensor even there in the S and SE models? Would anyone happen to know the part numbers for the mirror and mirror trim? As usual all help appreciated.
