It’s been my plan for a while now. Either merc c63 (or whatever the new version is) or m3 in 2022 We’ll see. May change my mind and just get 2 cheaper cars instead. 3 door Cupra and keep the Carbon...

Sounds like a good plan to me.

I’ve always liked the AMG A45 but decided to go for the Cupra.

My Mother In Law has promised if she wins the Premium Bonds she will treat me to a fully loaded one. You never know...

Do you know if the side skirts on eBay are any good? They’re like the Oem ones but not if you know what I mean. From like Poland or somewhere.

I can’t say to be honest. You maybe lucky. I’m sure others on here have bought them. But others have said the amount of extra prep needed to tidy them up has made them just as expensive as genuine.

That will be cheap as any 3 door Leon will be at least 4 years old by 2022.

A decent paint shop can do it and I know an amazing paint shop near me.
Or you could just get them done in black to match the splitter.

I've ordered a set from that Polish company yesterday, will let you know what they are like once they arrive. Couldnt justify €350 for the OEM ones, if these are shite at least I'm only out €100. Planning to wrap mine in gloss black to match my TRC splitter and gloss black rieger rear diffuser. Giving it a black "lowline" style kit.

Fitted the Facebook group buy strut brace. Not been out in yet so can’t comment on the difference.

Fitted some ezmods vinyls today Finally found a way to cover the horrible airbag warning labels on the passenger sun visor. Added a Cupra logo to the brake light while I was at it.

Not quite the car, but it is integral.

Replaced the mobius lens from type A to D, wide. Hoping it will improve the night mode as that has been really grainy of late. The unit is 5+ years old though so has been a good buy

Changed out the rear mufflers (ST 300 4drive) to straight-through resonators. Didnt have the chance to test it properly, but its MUCH louder, maybe a bit too loud for everyday commuting in my taste, but lets see.
Can say that the sound itself is great and low rumbling, res delete try for the same car wasnt good at all compared to this.

I had the res delete done on my ST300 and it made no difference at all because of the two phat mufflers on the exhaust system. So I ordered a cat back system from Germany which had much smaller mufflers and it’s made such a difference with the res delete..It’s how the car should sound.

That looks great! Actually the size of the mufflers is quite similar to what ive used. What was the price for the exhaust and who offers it?
I like those black RS6 style tips there!

It comes from a company called Friedrich motorsports, they have plenty of clips on YouTube. I paid £635 from eBay and you can choose different style tips. Looks sick with the black gloss Rieger rear diffuser....

Res delete on the Carbon made a hell of a difference, clearly the Golf R exhaust has different internals than the normal 4Drive.

It shure is totally different, as the mk7.5 R Variant is making a lot more noise and farts from stock.

Yeah it didn’t need anything to make you hear the farts, even in comfort mode.

Res delete was a whim, but I do like hearing the lift off pops and bangs.

I wonder has anyone done that RS6 look with rieger diffuser on a 5DR Cupra? Looks awesome on the estate.
