Ah that sucks! I've got a garage full of bits if you're anywhere near the South West, though it's very slowly shrinking as I find new homes for things or have to get rid of less useful stuff for fear of SWMBO

I am on the look out for 3 way adjustable suspension.. hight.dampning and rebound.
Also as your a man of knowledge. Why when look g for stuff e.g anti roll bars and suspension. Most advertisers list it ad fits all models except cupra r models. Is there some thing different structurally on the build. I thought it was the same shell and running gear . Yep suspension different night and stiffness etc . But fundamentally I thought it's the same car

Hi. The drop links are much longer on the R and the shocks shorter than on other models.
When searching you can search Audi TT stuff up to 05.
All fits the R.
The R uses TT front set up and rear is from the Golf gti.
White line do droplinks.
Eibach do a set of anti roll bars for the TT which is a direscy fit to the R.
People also use the R32 anti roll bars.
TT strutbraces fit the R too.

No way. I’m part of another fb closed group. The seats are like really popular.
Would have gone for proper money with those guys.
I’ll try and invite you. Pm me your fb name.
Few guys with race car mk1s as well so a wealth of additional knowledge.
Most mk1 guys from this site have moved with the times to the mk2 or 3s
Not all,but the knowledge pool is shallower now.

You literally gift your seats for that price, in my country you could get at least £250

@Mamic172 what other bits do you have to get rid of, We had a north east meat last week and there are a couple MK1 Owners who may be looking for some bits, Dont cost anything just to post the stuff in the for sale section on this site.

Sales seems to be a little hit and miss - those seats would usually go for more but it relies on the right buyer at the right time. Some of that's down to sharing it about as much as possible - eBay is great, but so much of the second hand market seems to be on FB now which I dislike, but you have to embrace really.

One throwaway comment last year saw me shift two sets of standard, cloth, non-Recaro LCR seats for ~£100 each, and on arrival one of the buyers then bought a set of wheels, headlining and some other odds and sods too. Then again, I've actively advertised bits before and had minimal interest. Swings and roundabouts and no point beating yourself up about it, or worrying about squeezing every last quid from a sale - life's too short.

I've currently got a garage overflowing with odds and sods from my old LCR which I broke for parts - I need to get some things sold to help fund my current engine build and I fancy going standalone - Brembos, wheels, bumper, spare engines, spare gearbox etc all sitting around gathering dust. I need to get on that really!

Me? I do, though it needs a refurb (usual red showing through as they all get after a few years) so isn't worth much - I as going to DIY it for my own car as a result but feel fre to PM me an offer if you're looking for one :)
