Feels like the resale value of mine 2018 Cupra is going up day by day
2019 ruined the Cupra, -10BPH and no more pops and crackles
It’s all about the new digital dash and 7 speed DSG

You want to try the 300 ST... Mine is so quiet it might as well be a 1.4 Eco wagon I guess they are assuming if want a Dad-mobile then you don't want too much drama.
Audi didn't get that memo with the RS6
I'm getting the same results as yourself, there is a really meaty grumble from the exhaust at low speeds. I'm happy with the way it is as it's sounds so much more satisfying than my old manual SC280.I've heard my MY19 pop once when really pushing and only because it bounced off walls I was driving past. I'm coming up to 1000 miles now and the exhaust has got audibly much louder inside the cabin with a huge amount of induction noise. When stationery in Cupra mode with the doors open you can hear it pop and bang too - so I'm sure it does occasionally while driving.
I think it sounds decent for the type of car it is, a wolf in sheeps clothing.
Mine has done 1k miles know and you can start to hear the pops and bangs but its not that great to be honest
Still haven't heard even one.
Wondering if the 4 Drive is noticeably quieter by design. Seriously considering a res delete on mine already. Are there any kits that fit the 4 drive?
I thought I'd update this as my car has now done 1300 miles. I unplugged the sound actuator a couple days ago (genuine 5min job) as I found I far more enjoyed the sound in comfort mode..
The exhaust has now got much louder inside the cabin and in cupra/s the pops and bangs are definitely there albeit nothing like the gunshots you might hear on youtube videos. Without the fake noise you get a lovely deep raspy note under acceleration with a handful of induction noise. Sounds really good IMO.

Hi, wondering if you can help, i just tried to unplug my sound Aktor as it drives me mad in cupra mode !
Hey, no central split for me either - it is entirely different to the Golf R videos on Youtube. Once the clips and rubber were removed, I used a flat knife to remove the plastic plug thing on the left side that was holding the cover down. I was able to make a gap just big enough to squeeze in and pull the plug out.
I'll try and get a picture this evening.
I probably just have very small hands

Removed rubber and clips as per first stages on all you tube vids i can see, however on my MY19 model there is no central split in the wiper cover as in all the videos (see pic) so without really forcing the cover I just can’t get my hand in the gap to access the Sound Aktor let alone the plug. Does your car have the central split or is there another way ?
My first choice would be OBDeleven to turn it off but by the time ive bought the kit and the android device (i’m an ios user) to use with it I would of spent around £100 which is a bit excessive as I only want to make one change
