Has anyone got any roof bars fitted to their Leon FR? I need to get some for mine and my missus' mountain bikes but haven't really seen any pictures of many Leon FR's with them on. Can anyone share any pictures?

Ok, not sure this will help but there is a thread for the 3DR https://forums.seatcupra.net/index.php?threads/thule-roof-bars-for-leon-sc.419241/page-1.

Otherwise for the 5DR assuming you go down the thule route, you need the 754 foot pack and 1707 fitting pack. https://roofracks.co.uk/Thule-Fit-G...pe=5-door-Hatchback&modelYear=2013-plus&id=29
Thanks for that! I'm gonna have to look into it. Might have to go second hand or even get them from Halfords (They've got some decent discounts going on at the moment).
I was really hoping to see a picture of a Leon with the roof bars on! A lot of the pictures online aren't of FR', Just standard Leons.

Yeah I would 100% be interested. I'm in no real rush for them because for now I can take my bike in my boot. Really looking to get some roof bars before May next year!

Sweet, I should have a better idea in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know.

I have used many brands of roof bars and load carrying equipment in the past, but will never stray from Thule now. You get what you pay for. Quality product and everything just fits and works perfectly.

I did my research years ago when I had my A3. The best on the market are Whispbars. Superquiet.
These have carried my kayaks and bikes for 4 years on the Leon. Never touched them and have had 4 huge creek kayaks up there. So quiet that I never remove them. You have the ST but on the 5 door hatchback, the Thule are bloody ugly.

Please do your own research and see what floats your boat.

I used to have a 3 door Audi A3. I had Halfords brand bars on this car before I bought Thule. I used Thule square bars when carrying the roof box, and wing bars when just carrying the bikes. Again, in my experience, Thule kit was far superior.

Again, it is whatever floats your boat. You compare Halfords with Thule. Personally I went for Whispbar.
You only have to look at the aerodynamics of the Thule blocks to know they were not designed for efficiency, aesthetics or noise reduction.
So it comes down to the same thing. Do you research and buy what floats your boat. Read the review pages and buy the model more suited to your load and your set up.

Just a side note but aren't Halfords bars made by Thule. I remember a guy who worked for them told me this.

Nice bike though mate.
I love my MTB. Canyon Strive CF9.0 Team in stealth.
