Looks like compare the market does list the new 290 and my Reg is now being recognised for Monday. I'm 26 with 7 years no claims £501 with Admiral (they were over 600 for aa300) Cupra 300 came out at £490 with Sheila's Wheels lol (free handbag cover!)

They've given me a Leon ST FR untill mine arrives but it doesn't have the digital dash.

None of the Apple Car Play work with the Digital Dash on MY2018, everything just says CarPlay when in use.


Would be surprised if that changed for MY2019, shame really but doubt it'll change anytime soon, it'll be something to do with Apple Specs, compatibility and all that stuff.

My 290 arrives next week and i was struggling for an accurate quote as only the 300 was listed as an option. The 290 is now on Compare the market, my quote last week on a 300 was £400, today its £680!!

Also noted a large difference in price for the ST depending on whether you choose the "4WD Estate" (more expensive) or the "4DRIVE Estate"

Can you post a pic of the Golf R foot rest the loaner you have has? I’d love to see how it looks as I want one for my Cupra but can’t seem to find any pics of the rest actually in a car.

I honestly don’t have a clue over the pre BW42 ones mate sorry. Maybe ask one of the lads that have already received theirs on a few pages back? They didn’t even have another Cupra at the dealers except mine which I thought was weird

Picked up my bw40 ST this evening and it has the space saver and a couple of guys who got 290s had them as well. Oh and the car is great

The trim was silver/chrome on the pre wk42 like on the UK 300 (see post #6784)

I'd have preferred the silver/chrome to make it feel more premium and a little different from my 280. No big deal though.

Pretty sure @AlexOS needs to go to spec savers as there is no OEM metal footrest for RHD cars

Found some picks of a black Copra 4drive on the German mobile.de site, as I hadn't seen any in black.

Prefer the pre Copra looks but it's not too bad. Wife has decided it's "rose gold" though!

Build week 44 and at UK port so hopefully through the dealer and delivered in a couple of weeks.

I ordered an ST4drive on Monday - the official wait for Cupra ST is 18-20 weeks, so you will be looking at delivery late March/early April.
