Michelin Performance Tyre Group Buy

Hi everyone,

I made a half joke about arranging a group buy from some tyres, however it seems that it could actually have some legs.

Initially I was talking about 235/35 R19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S or PS4Ss. However if there are enough people wanting other sizes then we maybe able to gain enough of a discount across the Michelin tyre range.

I've created a list below of the people who have already registered interest in one way or another. Initially I'm after:

• How many tyres would you want.
• What size.
• What type of Michelin tyre you'd be after if not the PS4Ss.
• Finally if you want them fitted or just delivered/collected - this may change based on your location obviously.

I'd plan on getting a price just for the tyres and a quote for either delivery or fitting seperetly.

It does. And unfortunately for me I had 4 new Uniroyals put on about 1500 miles ago.

Id potentially be interested in 2 (235/35/19) but since the Cupra is a week old it's still got plenty of Conti tread left! (Supply only) and if you can get a great deal for us i'd take 4!

Let's go for 4, normal Cupra size so 235/35 19. Won't need fitting, just supply will do.

Depending on what variation such a deal would allow us I would be interested in some (four) tyres for my wife’s mighty Qasqai:

On the PS4S's they only seem to do a 91 ZR(Y), however that's what my current tyres (Contis) are aswell.

Kwik Fit - who have been really good with my previous 280, are currently able to do 4 PS4S's fitted for £514.40.

So if we can get a price below £125 a tyre fitted via this group buy I'd be a very happy man.

Damn, I’m sure I looked on their website prior to going with black circles...

Makes me wonder whether we would benefit from a thread where people can just dump in deals, specifically related to cars (upgrades, replacement of consumables) as they find them. Does such a thread exist already?

Updated, contacted one online (supply only) tyre supplier. They don;t to group buys.

Also contacted one of the site sponsors who's looked after us in the past to see if they can do anything.

@Yellow fr I believe is looking into prices too

Have you tried Kiwk fit? Asking if you get a group buy if they can do anything else...?
