I take back what I said before, you are correct!

In section 9.4.1 of our lease agreement it states:

"You agree to make sure that the Vehicle is serviced and maintained strictly in line with the manufacturer's recommendations and that scheduled servicing and necessary maintenance is carried out only by authorised SEAT dealers"

me too! cant wait :)

My first service is coming up so I phoned SEAT CS and asked them and they said "we recommend that you get it serviced at a dealer but its not mandatory". Mine is leased.

I'd call VWFS (if that's who you're leasing through), and make sure, it's their terms not the dealer and they could be incorrect

You don't want it coming back to haunt you when you give the car back

I will do just that. My dealer quoted £189 for first service. I presume this will be the same at all dealers?

If you've leased through SEAT / VWFS then it will need to be serviced at a SEAT main dealer. SEAT CS are not the correct people to be asking advice from IMO. If your lease has another funder other than VWFS then you'd need to contact them. For the sake of saving a few quid you risk getting huge charges at the end of your lease.

Not a bad looking 300.

From 1:20 secs

Not a week 42 build.

That’s orange not copper, so explains why it may have it coloured before that week.

Performance Pack too.

Happy collection day for those lucky enough to be driving away today.
I’ve arranged to collect mine on Monday...it’s going to be a long weekend!!!
I’m down for Monday collection also, wanted it today but paperwork not through yet.

Yesterday was a good news day.

My case manager informed me that SEAT have kindly agreed to throw in the side skirts and fitting for free as a good will gesture.

Previously they were just offering fitting.

Now all I have to pay for is the front lip.

Very nice, is that via your dealer or a direct offer from SEAT? I wish to do the same with mine...

The only 2 sites I can put the 290 in and neither want to know. I’m 25 ffs.

Im 24 and in the same position, thinking of just insuring as a 300 and adding a note to the policy to say it is actually a 290 as others have suggested on here.

Directly with SEAT CS. They've authorised the dealership to order, paint and fit in time for collection.

Hopefully looking at a week 49 delivery.

You can still order the blades, skirts or lip via dealership.

I'd love the skirts but can't justify the cost

Mine is at Grimsby too, was registered as being there from Monday. Carly at Lookers advised it will be in the dealership within 2 weeks.

Mine left Grimsby on the 18th and got to the dealers yesterday so it took exactly a week for mine, hopefully yours will be quicker too (BW39 though)
