Oh fair enough I’m all new to this basically ordered a Nevada white Cupra lux yesterday from capitol seat done my little bit of research because like you said the dealers or just mine knew the basics so wonder if I would have a 7speed box etc

I'm gonna be seriously p@*%~d off if its not on my ST...

I ordered the car in Feb, and in March i saw that they had updated the Seat site with FREE leather/winter pack... I immediately requested this was added and was told 2 days later that the dealer had added it..

When all the delays REALLY started kicking off, I spoke to CS and was told that the leather was not on there. I called Wessex fleet and was told, after they had called Snows, that the sales person there thought that the leather pack was going to be added to the MY19 as standard so they didn't bother adding it.

After kicking off big time, I was then told, as was just about everyone that the winter pack was being put onto the MY19 cars. Since it was actually that I wanted, I let it go, but since then they have changed their minds about a dozen times. My car has (apparently) been built and is at the post in Barcelona awaiting a ship (hopefully) so I havent got a clue.

I'm awaiting confirmation from my claim manager as to the exact spec and chassis number, but I've got the the point where I'm expecting that when i finally receive my car it'll be a 1986 ford escort in white over red paint and steel wheels, held together by rust.. (copper coloured of course)..

If it’s anything like the Golf R I have on loan at the moment, it won’t go over 4K revs unless you’re driving. Whether in neutral or in gear, or with the launch control, it tops out at 4K.

Spoke to SEAT CS today, my BW40 ST300 4drive is enroute to the port in Barcelona, as others have mentioned technical data for the ST has now been received. They also stated my car is 7 speed.

IMG claim all theirs are 6 spd.

Wondering if the SLI update was a general one for the MY19 Cupra and it updated all existing orders as well as the new ones....

Looks like all the 4drives will be on the same ship.. both pre and post week 42.. dealers will be inundated with us all arriving to fight over getting delivery first. Lo

Asking for a friend how do you activate the launch control on the Cupra?

A friend.. hmmm.. lol

Put it into cupra mode...
Press and hold the ESC button until it deactivates..
Make sure DSG is in Sport...
Make sure handbrake and hill hold are off...
Press HARD on brake..
Press throttle, it should go to about 4K..
Release brake and HOLD TIGHT!! lol

If when you put your foot on the throttle you can feel it trying to pull off, something is wrong from the above steps.. reset and try again...
