Anybody been given registration numbers for there cars due next week? My dealership have been trying for 2 days now but there having now luck with Seats online systems.

Got mine on an email from Wessex fleet, starts HY so from portsmouth. When searching on the dvla etc nothing shows for it yet though

If the DVLA are anything like SEAT it'll be 16 weeks plus 4 weeks extra until we can register them

It's only an issue because they are having to check with SEAT to confirm there really is a model called the FrankenCupra
On a more serious note; if dealers are having trouble registering them, how difficult is it going to be getting insurance cover?

My dad had an issue with his 308GTi and they were happy to insure it without being able to verify the reg plate, I know it's a slightly different scenario as it wasn't a new model like the FrankenCupras are

Yeah ive had previous leases when they cant find the reg, I just tell them what it is and they still insure it. Unless you get a female advisor and she puts down everything wrong because she has no idea about cars. Happened to me before, then when I corrected them the price went up 200 quid and I had to pay it erghhh

With regards to insurance I rang admiral and explained they rang me back a day later they had managed to get the car on the system.

All the new Seats have [EZ] at the end of them. The EZ is short for Easy Offer. Oddly enough, most of the new MY19 Seats shows up (such as the FR Sport with the 190Ps 2.0L) but the MY19 290 doesn't. I've already spoken to Direct Line and they can't quote for my renewal until I get a reg number. It seems like it will be cheaper renew at my current rate than swap to my new one when it arrives as there will be no admin fee. If they base my renewal on the 2016-2018 5dr 300 DSG it goes up by £65!

I was told by seat finance (well vwfs) to ring bca direct as it would be quicker booking appointment. I plan on doing this as soon as collection day is confirmed

They allowed me to buy the car, I never bothered to find out how much though

BCA have been bugging me since last November.
I was getting in touch with SEAT to get them to inform BCA of my informal extension.

In the end I was advised that I could just contact BCA myself to arrange.

I've also received a few letters about buying my lease. It says to ring up for a price.

My current lease is a 230 octavia vrs & yes they sent a letter offering to quote should I want to buy the vehicle.. The quote was rather competitive too

Just phoned Sales team and without asking for any information i was told next year mate. I said how can you say next year when mine is already confirmed as build by your line manager. Is mine coming on a dinghy. After realizing his mistake he now tell me he cannot get into the system and will have to call tomorrow.

Not me, but i have been told that it is due to be at my dealer on the 25th (next Thursday)
