So......, telephone call with Nationwide, and they agree a car due at dealer late December can't be BW41. Currently they are talking to SEAT for both a timescale clarification, and anything they can also get on revised spec. I'll put up their further reply when I receive it. In the meantime, off to dig out the Brasso from the back of the understairs cupboard!

What options, if any, did you go for out of interest Kenton?

Has the provisional date changed?

I've got an ST on order with Nationwide but I added bucket seats, advanced comfort, camera, KESSY, nav high, pano roof and winter pack.
Currently showing as dealer date of 08/02/19.

No options, my business couldn't justify the budget. My original 'to dealer' date was 28/01/19, so an improvement of 1 month on what I was told at the point of order.

When I wto CS this morning, I was told build week 42 and delivered to dealer in 3-4 weeks. Not holding my breath for that..

They are awaiting co2 emissions and spec change confirmation next week apparently.


They have just opened for ordering weeks 42.


You have a confirmed build week of 41 (this week)


So you will be pre copper upgrades I’m afraid.


When I get the extra inform next week (all being well) I wwill forwards to you


Regarding the 28/12… our dealer was giving Seat Benefit of the doubt, when they said week 41 wwe would expect the car 30th November.

...whilst asking them the specification you might want to find out what they are planning to do with it for circa 6 weeks before it arrives at the retailer after Christmas!

Just got off the phone with CS my build week is now week 44 apparently. Jumped from week 48.

Obviously she didn't know about the copper. Another confirmation of beatsaudio.

Spoke to Seat CS today as I missed their call. The lady on the phone confirmed I'm getting all the options that I ordered (in my signature below) as I was worried seeing KESSY & adaptive no longer on the newer models (ordered from now). She confirmed by car will be a 300 6 speed DSG and also it will come with the awful copper badges.

I will wait till the car arrives, but they'll be getting changed for sure!
