That’s much more reasonable! Let’s hope the other dealers are willing to follow suit

Which dealer was it if you don’t mind me asking? And was it delivery mileage?

I’ll let you know when I’ve collected haha

Damo, have they also agreed to store yours and not put any miles on it?

(What I'm getting at is that this seems stupid because the car cannot be a demonstrator as such...so why do we have to wait?...but I have had to sign an order form that stipulates this wait.)

Mine will have no more than 3000 miles on it, but won't be a demonstrator, just 1 driver (apart from maybe a test drive by me this Saturday). But for the saving its well worth it :)

Went into my local dealers today and the Principal is running around in a Carbon ST as well. Price is still £35K and he was amazed when I said I knew of someone who had bought one for £29k. He told me that he had already sold one (and two Cupra R) and was confident he will get the money he is asking. Time will tell.

I have been fortunate in the circumstance that I have bought mine (touch wood that it happens in 3 months as it should) but I think around £30k is the right price. The appeal of these limited editions can be fleeting and in 12 months time they may be worth the same as any st 300.
For instance you own a 2017 model and will know how much it's worth now trade price,so would you want a £35k Carbon to be that value in a year hence.

To be honest (and I’m probably biased as I have one) the Red does look better on the 5d Hatchback than the ST.

Love those Bucket Seats though, nicer in Leather I bet.
Can’t get them in full leather.

I like the red, it’s more repairing it if it gets scratched.

Pity about the Leather. Still like the seats.

I’ve heard the Red is a total pain in the Ar$e to colour match. Guess I’ll have to take it careful with mine.

Had a look around the Carbon ST at my dealers, mint car and you’re a lucky sod to be getting one. Not jealous at all

It’s got some nice options (seats, brakes, side skirts) and the carbon exclusive bits are nice.

But the spec of the car is worse than most 300’s. No winter pack (heated seats thankfully) :( No Seat Sound, no high beam assist that you can use to add traffic sign recognition) and only on a relatively boring colour. The white carbon edition European press car looks way better IMO.

You would think for the asking price and exclusivity that it would come fully loaded. I’d happily swap my 300 for the Carbon ST for some things (Bucket Seats, Carbon Trim, Exhaust Layout, Limited Edition status) but as you say for others (Winter Pack, Seat Sound, Leather, Colour) I’d happily keep the 300.

Seat sound is easy enough to retro fit, but the heated washer jets and bottle are probably impossible (ie expensive). Not bothered about the headlight wash always seen that as a gimmick. They’re hardly karcher pressure washer cleaners. But I’ve always wanted the traffic sign recognition, doesn’t quite work in my current car due to the MIB1 unit. But retro fitting that camera will be impossible as it would need a new windscreen.

Thankfully Front Assist is standard now. Not a fan of the ACC in my car, but the front assist is nice piece of mind.

I fancy the Traffice sign assist myself but guess I’ll have to wait till my next car which will probably be a Mk4 Cupra, if it’s any good and even has it fitted..who knows.

Front assist is good but my wife’s went off when a bag flew in front of her. The sound scared the cr@p out of her and the brakes applied too, not enough to stop her dead but she did slow down.

With the winter pack, above the heated seats,is it just the washer jets and reservoir?
So a heated screen doesn't exist on a Leon?
( unlike a Golf or Octavia)

Winter pack depending on other options is:
Heated seats
Heated Washer Jets
Larger Heated water bottle
Headlight wash

Progressive Parts, performance parts and tuning specialists
