Prices are going up,not down!

SEAT Worcester have a 68 reg demo one,not available until 30 Nov,priced at £36990.

Really?
That’s taking the piss.

Let’s see how much they are after I’ve got mine.

Edit: I could spread false rumours saying it’s a crap car to reduce the prices for everyone on here who wants one haha

I was a bit sad this morning went and compared the performance figures (weight vs bhp and torque) of current car and new one...

1466kg DSG ST 280
350nm
190.9bhp per tonne
238.7Nm per tonne

1534kg DSG st 300 4drive
380nm
195.6bhp per tonne
247.7Nm per tonne

...the heavier carbon may need a remap!

£37k buys you an 18 plate minimal mileage S4 Avant...that makes you think!

It then you’d be an Audi driver. And no one wants to be one of those unless it’s an R8 or RS at least.

I suspect the Map will be much much cheaper than going RS6

@Damo H if you are looking for a bit more BHP but want to stay in the Seat family may I suggest you take a look at this very good tube video that @Pew found and no comments about the fuel type please.

That's a better price...
So SOLD! just paid a deposit on it this morning.
Now I feel better, was wondering how the hell they were able to knock the price down so much on the one I’m buying. At least it looks like another dealer has done it.

I think I know the score.
The carbons were launched with a,err, ambitious price.
If they had all been snapped up at that price then Seat and the dealers would have been very happy.
But due to the wotsit rules they all had to be registered by 30 Sept.,so seat agreed that the unsold ones registered late could become "demonstators" and so then got a healthy subsidy on the price.
I cannot take delivery for, they say,3 months (which suits me and gives me time to sell my old car) but they are storing it away and it will remain with 12 miles on the clock.
A good result I think...but puts the ones still advertised at full price looking silly!

Nice one. Seen the comments about the carbons a few weeks back about the dealers not moving on the price and having a look through autotrader this morning noticed the price drop for the one I linked to. Thought about one myself but fancied a change and have ended up getting a civic type r instead :)
Hope you enjoy it when you finally get your hands on it
