So just had my weekly call with Seat CS....drumroll please!!

My car has been assigned a ship and currently in transit to sunny Grimsby he didn’t have the shipping information tho (ship name etc). I asked about the engine data arriving early that was due 2nd October, just said they’ve got all the data they required now.

They’ve been inputting the data to each vehicle manually so basically fudge the results to suit haha. Anyway there happy with the results so no changes were necessary so released the car for delivery. Doing it manually has taken less time than what they thought.

I’m due a call next Friday with a location update so if it’s still in Spain we know I was a load of bull **** I’ve been told haha.

If it really is on it's way, it may be on the Pegasus Ace, which is due into Sheerness for it's first drop off on 1st October..

One of my frustrations is it seems that the consumer (us) are chasing Seat CS more than our dealers are, surely it should be the dealer chasing for us, as that who we are contracted to

Dealers have a sale and know the wait is long for a Cupra and seem to be taking the easy route. You want it you chase it is what they’ll be thinking. If you’ve waited months you’re hardly going to back out now.

If it really is on it's way, it may be on the Pegasus Ace, which is due into Sheerness for it's first drop off on 1st October..

Hopefully sheerness then onto Grimsby

Good news, my 290 is due back on the 18th November, so gonna ask them to hold it if it comes in earlier than expected.

Update 2 Just had an email from Seat UK CS and they have also confirmed my build week
"I have discussed your query with our Sales Support Team, and can advised that your SEAT Leon CUPRA has a confirmed build of week 40 (Week commencing 1 October)."
So two sources from Seat UK and my Seat dealer have given a confirmed build week.

I've been told that it won't be assigned until after they've received the technical data for my car in week 42.

Apparently I should expect to receive a date shortly afterwards.

*Not sure why my order is so different*
They've made it sound like this technical data is specific to my order.

Been told to expect mid November.

Cutting it close to my M.O.T and service date on my current lease.

That'll be 13 months I better get some extra copper bling now

If you know the name of the ship its on you can track it on marine traffic.
