No it doesn't, the difference you hear if the ignition timing changing when you change mode for comfort, sport, cupra etc
Pretty sure there's no change of ignition timing, my logs are identical in comfort and Cupra mode!

Idle jumps up a little bit but that's about it!

How do I post a video from my phone without putting it on a website and putting the link on here? Or is that the only way ‍♂️

And there are farts(In Cupra/Sport mode) when you lift throttle...

Is this res delete really worth doing then would you say? I’m really contemplating it now. A guy who makes custom exhausts can do it me Friday. But want to be 100 percent certain.

I’ve had mine for a week and absolutely love the improvement, also had quad exhaust tips put on from PowerFlow

Yes, absolutely. I've had mine for a couple of months and I love it.

One thing you might want to do once you've had it done is to disconnect the Soundaktor. All the Soundaktor does is pump fake noise into the car to make it sound sportier, but you won't need it with the res delete and I found it was a bit too much..!

It's really simple to do and it's just as simple to reconnect it if you really want to. I made a quick guide when I did mine which you'll find here:

I’ve still got my soundaktor connected! Sounds nuts with everything combined so until I get bored of it it’ll be staying on

I had mine connected until I did a big motorway drive (Essex back to Worcester)... That persuaded me to remove it and I haven't looked back!

I’m with Tully1980 on this one, get rid of that fake noise coming into the cabin, and best of all it cost nothing. Real exhaust noise now in the back of the car especially with the new cat back system...

Isn’t it actual engine noise just amplified by the windscreen? So there’s nothing really fake about it is there??

Fake or not I didn't like it and personally I think it sounds much better with it disconnected. That's just my opinion though

Seeing as it’s simple enough to disconnect I might have a go at it today, hopefully nothing can go wrong!

I'd definitely recommend disconnecting it just to see what you think. It's easy enough to do and easy enough to reconnect if you prefer it

So you think I should go for it then? Did you guys buy the ready made Progressive parts piece or have it made by an exhaust specialist?

I think the other guys got it from Progressive parts (correct me if I’m wrong) but I went the custom route, not sure how much the sound will differ though.

Yeah I’m having mine custom but still so can be returned to stock? It definitely isn’t too loud is it ? Just worrying about warranty and stuff. But biggest worry is being too loud with having a new born baby just last week haha!!

Mine's the VAGSport one from Progressive Parts. I don't think it makes a lot of difference.

It's loud from a cold start for a minute or so, then it settles down and isn't a whole lot louder than the stock exhaust - until you floor it!!
