Bowland Brewery now has a massive site in Clitheroe. However the car park does get full pretty quickly.

I think we will need some breathing room, maybe the brewery as a last stop and meet somewhere a little more under used lol maybe some good pic opportunities?

How many Cupra Owners does it take to decide where to have a car meet.

Answer - No Idea but we are getting there :)

As most of us have a little way to go to get there, I would suggest we confirm if people are staying overnight or day trip up and back so that we can set the agenda.

@paddy6789 (Aaron) -

@theoldboy (Ron) - Staying Overnight

@Jimbobcook (Simon) Rutland

@Legojon (Jon) - Birmingham

@Damo H - (Damo) - Wigan

I’m local to the north west so I’ll be making a day trip, although originally thought it was just a local meet in the evening. As now it’s a UK meet haha may need to check back with the wife, or just join for the evenings activities.

I don't really want to show up in a battered 54 plate corsa with irmscher body kit on it while you lot have your cupras ;)

I'm local to the area but the cupra is only due end of october, I'd make the next one wherever it is

Preston, Lancs
I'm thinking Peak District is possibly the best location...
It has three great driving roads:

Cat 'n' Fiddle - Buxton to Maccclesfield
Snakes Pass - Sheffield to Glossop
Mam Tor - Edale to Hope

Hotels arent looking too much either, there are a lot for less than £100 for the night. (I did a Trivago search for Peak District)

I think if we want driving roads, we could do Snakes Pass and Mam Tor in the same day, not sure if all 3 would be doable in one day, especially with people driving a fair bit already.

@theoldboy will be happy with lots of country pubs and beers/ales on tap!

Has anyone stayed in the Peak District before that can recommend a location?

I like the sounds of that. I know Castleton (Mam Tor) has pubs n parking. I think Snakes pass only has the 1 pub though?!? Not heard of Cat n Fiddle... off to Google maps for me again.

Haha I could but then my car wouldn't be standard... which is something that may help me sell it in the future. "currently" 265bhp is enough lol

We can pootle along as the slow team haha

Maps can be flashed back. ;)

Plus, difficult to boot it around roads you don't know as you don't really know whats round the next corner. :cop:
