Going to put it out there. There is always the Trafford centre? Hotels near by, shopping for the better halves, and we can still go for a drive to snakes pass of people want. There is always what used to be a nice pub nearby.

More south west Manchester than east, it an option.

Most certainly not - I’ve still not been forgiven for taking up 4 hours of her time when me and Damo were fitting the rear diffuser on my 290 (and said diffuser is now for sale if anyone is interested)

Reason I ask is that my sister in law lives 3 miles from the Trafford Centre and if we hit there she will want to visit her sister.

Yep let's get a location nailed then hotel and that's a good starting point otherwise we just say in limbo and hotels get more expensive lol

I'm not bringing the other half she wouldn't enjoy me talking about cars for 4+ hours on the way there and back.

In South Manchester myself, all of the suggested locations have been fine by me. Someone suggested the Trafford Centre, I live about 2 miles down the road from the Tragic Centre...it’s ok in that there’s plenty to do but it’s overpriced and parking can be a nightmare. The local race scene all meet around that area, Asda, Krispy Kremes then go speeding through Trafford Park (I believe police have put some sort of curfew in effect that hasn’t been very successful)

As to put this to bed so to speak is there anyway if carrying out a poll with some of the suggested locations as to get an idea of preference?

I’m up for a drive through some rural countryside, stop at a pub or two to discuss cars and an overnight stay somewhere scenic so I can get some good pics of my Desire Red Cupra alongside some other Desirable Cupra’s. Oh and have a pint or two with new friends

Always wanted to go to the Wychwood brewery haha. Not in the northwest though.

There’s Pendle brewery near by. And another one in Bolton.

Could be completely ironic and meet at a national trust site

Bowland Brewery now has a massive site in Clitheroe. However the car park does get full pretty quickly.
