I thought it was white with a black surround? LOL.
That's what I said haha

Whatever!
Unless we all fetch tents and pick a campsite. That’s the festival goer in me coming out there.

Just to be clear @Jimbobcook are you going to marry your girlfriend or @Legojon as you have matching cars and stickers and you are both mods hmmmm.

I have booked the 13th Happy with Blackpool but its a 3 and a bit hour drive so if we can go inland a bit (Snakes pass / Glossop type area) makes it 2 hours which is much easier on the old girl.

@Damo H what have you bought don't tell me you gone to the dark side and got a VW Estate or that other German car company I cant talk about. Lets hope its the Carbon you were after

Damo H/ paddy6789..... I must be missing a personal joke between you two fellas or I’m slow on the uptake... but it would be good to get this meet sorted out and meet you two and the rest of the others guys.

Sorry. Whatever happens tomorrow, I will still be in my White ST on the 13th October. Although I do now need to start putting it back to standard where possible.

@paddy6789 on the other hand may not be in a Blue Cupra 290 ;)

Shhhh, he hasn't asked me yet. Plus we'd argue over who's car to go in.

I think Snake pass is closer for me too. Plus I've always wanted to drive it!

Nah the Skoda before the facelift was pretty, now it’s crap, and still not enough power even in 245 trim after having the 280.

The golf estate looks pants compared to the ST and has a rubbish spec in comparison.

The Audi S3 and RS3 saloons look the best car in my opinion, but as much as I love Audi’s I don’t want to become an ’Audi driver’. Plus boot isn’t great.

So the aim will always be for a Cupra 300 ST with Bucket seats...

...Brembos...

...and maybe a touch of Carbon.

I’ll confirm tomorrow :)

I’ve driven snakes pass in a Yaris but not my Leon. I think it would be a great drive that suits the Leon well. There’s also Woodford pass which isn’t far from Snakes Pass but I don’t feel it’s quite as nice a drive.

Being in Manchester both Blackpool and Snakes Pass aren’t far from me so I don’t mind either, Blackpool isn’t much to look at these days and is a bit tacky but a drive through of the illuminations would be cool in the evening. (Started the 1st Sep)

Living in the back of beyond as I do, Snake Pass would be a 3 hour trip for me. I’d need to think about staying over I think...and I’d have to get that past the missus...I’ll see how things pan out with the meet place before I raise the question.

Sounds like we could be in for a few “special” cars coming along. Looking forward to seeing them and everyone’s own special cars..

Never driven down Snakes Pass, but I often see ‘Snakes Pass closed’ on the matrix signs along the M6 - would we all get a decent drive down the road? Thinking of meeting at a location, then driving the road in convoy, then drinks and whatever after :)

Now you mention it snakes pass is often closed without warning due to bad weather. Wouldn’t want someone driving 3 hours to find it’s closed, I’ve also read that it often has speed traps. Maybe a backup plan or somewhere else?

This may give a couple of ideas:
