After having the white plastic cupra key cover (genuine seat part) on for almost 3 years it looks terrible. Cracking all over it easily scuffed. I decided to bling up my spare key and start using that.
Chrome top £5 and silicone cover £3 both from eBay.

De-activated the sound actuator today the way Tully1980 described on his thread... no obd 11 needed. Just pure exhaust noise coming into the car now from the res delete and new cat back set up... no fake noise.... I think it sounds so much better.

Walshy.....cheers fella..... a lot of drivers (mostly bmw) don’t know seat do a cupra estate version and seem to want to try and race me of the lights...little do they know I’ve got revo stage1 and a few other mods and there just a blim in my rear view mirror.

Day trip round Cadwell Park, Car likes being pushed and she certainly kept the Cupra model well respected.

Lot of the guys (there were no other seat's there) were saying the Cupra is a great car.

KXL... Yeah man.... I don’t do it all the time... it’s just sometimes some jumped up people p*#s me off and the look down on you and what you are driving so I think like a footballer and let my feet do the talking ( especially the right one)

Drove to work in spirited manner avoiding debris caused by the winds and when I got there parked next to a mates Orange Cupra 300 ST (Manual version...pah ).

I didn't do anything with the Cupra because it's getting built next week

But I did order the boot struts so I can open the boot with the key

And I drove my £500 corsa like a racecar to work this morning

Filled it back up this morning after driving back from Bruges to Manchester on Monday...I think an average 41MPG is pretty good for my Cupra! Even if it was in comfort mode...

My 300DSG is always in Cupra mode and if I need the extra umph, I’d either use the kickdown facility or go for the paddles.

I drive everywhere with the paddles, I know it's a bit silly and not as comfortable for my commute but I just love pretending I'm a race driver haha

I mainly use the paddles when coming to roundabouts so I don’t get the gear changedown whilst on the roundabout or when I’m overtaking.

Sent the 290ST Manual off to dealers for new brake pads, at 26,500 miles am being told need new discs as well! Hoping they agree discs will limp round to January 2019 when the 300ST 4Drive arrives.......
