Done the upgrade to the latest - will try the maps from navigation.com.
Will attach the ODBELEVEN and check the faults tomorrow.

That's interesting I contacted them as well and they said they could modify my unit with the latest firmware etc, and would enable it so that I could update the maps myself I think they quoted £200.
If it hasn't got Mapcare & isn't a retrofit then it shouldn't recognise the update file via the normal update. When I say shouldn't, it won't. Those nice VW and Skoda people bundle Mapcare into the units in the UK, Seat don't. 
. Problem is the UK now know to hack the normal Mib2 ones so Seat UK probably aren't bothered about sorting out Mapcare for the Mib2 High (Plus in Seat lingo).
Might come a time when the factory wont want to make so many variations of the unit. The Standard units are unreliable and the standalone phone people Android Google / Waze the sat nav location is unreliable. Arrived at the charity shop 2 minutes before sat nav Android last time.... you have now arrived... yes two minutes ago. Dah.

My enquiry was in July this year, was going to get it done but my MIB2 High packed up and was replaced under warranty.
Mines been fine except when I stuffed it myself by side loading a more recent map via the developers menu which works with retrofits as mentioned on the thread. I sorted that out after I realised I'd incorrectly labelled up the SD card to get back to the release I'm on.... a month later. If you play about with the Iceland map only, it loads up quick. So I'll spend sometime loading up Iceland only
. I'm hoping the ignore signature command works on each macro call but we'll find out. I resisted doing anything more else I'd never get anything done. The POI programmer guy got me to try out the ignore signature command when we were getting it to work on his POI program. I'd seen it talked about elsewhere when VW messed up POI Import via their web based program. May be it works on the map side... (Thats multiple calls, tried it on the top, but not beyond yet). Still looking for that backdoor. Then I'm assuming the serial number of the upload is the controlling factor. You can down grade, I've done that.If you notice that Mirrorlink is missing and an error in module 5F and you can't solve let me know.
What version maps do currently have installed? mine are 0122, 2015/16.

Yes - i have the same as you and i have lost mirror link.
looked at the alarms after a scan Got a fault code on unit 5F "Checking Software version Management" -
Fault code : B201A00
Status: Static
Priority: 6

You could have a Navigation High or MIB2 High. It has a built in SSD/HDD.
What year is your car and do you have USB ports in glovebox or the centre console?
