Dont suppose you know your locking nut code, in which case somebody may have a spare one.

I went and kerbed an alloy today. Rubbed it off a steel pipe going into a car wash. Seems to be damage on the clear coat only, the metal face isn't gauged or scratched. Must try and polish out the mark or get it refurbed.

Oh no! We’ve all been there... nothing worse than being pi&&ed off at yourself for damage!

Updated my firmware/software today for my Harman Navigation High unit, had to do in 4 stages from 0319 to 0674 to 0818 to 0897 and finally to 1219 the latest at time of writing. Had some bum clenching moments doing it! LOL. Hope to fit 8" screen in the next few days, being delivered tomorrow.

Gave the car a quick rinse today.. Could have spent a bit longer doing the wheels but had other things to do. I also noticed a stone chip on my RR Alloy :( Stupid surface dressed road with their stupid grit! I also hit a squirell yesterday, i heard a crunch but can see no damage to the car... only issue is, i don't know where the squirell went as it wasn't on the road!! poor thing.

So like a total numpty I managed to lose my locking wheel nut today. Think I drove off with it still on the wheel nut and it’s fallen off on the road somewhere. To say I’m a little annoyed at myself would be an understatement.

I’ve tried bashing a 22mm socket over it with no joy.

Anyone got any other ideas as to how to get it off?

So some advice from me for what's it's worth... write the code of your locking wheel nut down somewhere.

I called my local dealership and parts guy said that SEAT rotate numbers/ designs and it's likely my one is now obsolete so i'd need a full new set. Other option was to give them the car so they could try the numerous ones they have in the workshop but of course that would costs labour time and may be unsuccessful.

So, euro car parts £16 for 4 new bolts, local tyre place £22 for removing the old locking wheel nuts about £15 spent on various now destroyed sockets and adaptors. So all in £50 (ish) bill for being a numpty. Cheers :banghead:

Put a full venti latte on the roof, next thing I know it has slid off and landed on the passenger seat spraying the interior with coffee and leaving a pint of latte pooling on the seat cushion.
Great start to the day.

Frantically scooped some back into the cup but the rest soaked in to the seat. Gave it a good scrub with wet wipes, but that’s about all I could do. Hopefully it won’t have fu**ed up the heaters or seatbelt sensor and will dry out eventually.

I done something similar - the one day I wanted to be nice and bring people at work some coffees, the lids weren’t on properly and all 4 lattes went over the passenger seat. Every little drop onto my alcantara...

Invested heavily in A LOT upholstery cleaner and thankfully the dead milk smell only lasted a few days. Must’ve emptied all the seat cleaner stuff I bought onto the seat and refrained from rubbing anything in, with the hope it would bring everything to the surface.

All good as new now :)

And my colleagues will never get drinks from me again :)

Bulb is a W16W and I just got a cheapish pair from eBay for about £5. Couldn’t bring myself to spend £20 on a pair of Osrams but if mine fails I might. No errors on dash though.
I might be being thick but does the facelift with full led not have an led reversing light? Must admit mine is very dim
