My ST 4 Drive is provisional build week 10/12/18. My estimation is delivery around feb, When the time comes I will be asking for it to be a 19 plate. Ordered mid April through Nationwide vehicle contracts. Standard in urban silver. Annoying, but I can be patient.
Mind if I ask who you have dealt with at Nationwide? I too have an order with them for ST 4Drive.

Chris Hodgkinson is their Seat specialist who i ordered through.
After placing the original order I e mailed him once and he politely told me when they have an update then it would go on their system and I would get an e mail.
A few weeks later I e mailed again asking some other questions and he never bothered himself to reply.
From that point I thought, "sod it i will just leave it and see what happens" (fortunately I have a car to use in the meantime and so am in no rush to receive it) If they turn out to be useless, I can always just cancel it and get my brokers fee back due to unreasonable delays so nothing would be lost.
I then received an e mail update on 2/8/18 with this provisional build week, this is all it said nothing more.
This is where i am at, when they give further updates and it gets nearer the time i will say i want a 19 plate please which I feel is reasonable.

The supplying dealer will give you it, the broker probably won't be to interested. May isn't to bad you'll probably be waiting a lot shorter time than some other folk, which I still to long lol.

Don't even know who my supplying dealer is!! Will send a message to the lease company and see if they can request the number.

Chris also advised on my order in June, and my provisional 'to dealer' date is 28th January 2019. In fairness, at the time of placing the order the whole WLTP problem was explained, so I expected a wait. Haven't heard from Chris since, I also emailed for an update. In the meantime I did get the order number from them, and have since tried Seat CS. They also have little to offer, but they did at least confirm the supplying dealer.

I don't think I'll get much out of anyone for another 4 weeks or so. However, as a business lease, it will be replacing a vehicle that I can keep hold of on a daily rate until the new one arrives.

Given the speculation over the last couple of weeks, I expect a wait for an ST 4Drive that has a Flux Capacitor included as standard!

Did you get that update through nationwide? I have also ordered through them at a similar time to you

Latest from Seat regarding the ST 4drive is that they expect WLTP sorted some time between weeks 45 and 51.. they won’t confirm anything until that’s done...

However.... it was also mentioned that the car will be going through WLTP as they have it specced right now without any changes. WLTPis just a formality for the figures so they know tax bands etc. This means that its possible they will actually start building cars that have been ordered as and when they have the capacity, and store them at the factory, so they as soon as the WLTP is finalise, they can begin shipping... if this happens, that would potentially save a few weeks. (this is just a possibility that’s apparently being considered..

From what I heard a couple of weeks ago they were planning to test with 7 speed on the WLTP and possibly 310ps... I’m fairly confident that the 7speed is correct but the 310 ps... I have my fingers crossed that that is true...

The Seat.fr site lists the MY19 5 door as having a 7sp DSG also…it wouldn’t make sense to use this combo on the ST and not on the 5 door if they are trying to limit the WLTP engine/gearbox options. Again, only time will tell what we actually get!

Going to 7sp makes sense really all around as it’s already a box that’s in the group inventory, so no development codes, and having that extra gear for cruising will bring the fuel economy and emissions down just a tiny bit at higher speeds, thereby improving the WLTP results and helping lower first year RFL, which is a cost that the manufacturer covers in their OTR price.

Ordered 13th April from Bristol Street Derby.
Ordered accepted looks like some sort of progress.
It looks like 5dr DSG will all be sorted before the ST 4WD so I imagine it’ll only be a few weeks before they start building again so can’t see us having to wait longer than end of October for them to be delivered to us if you’ve ordered a while back?

Most who have ordered the 5dr are saying they have an expected build of week 40, but for the ST we are looking at week 45-51 at least at the moment.

I spoke to CS a couple of hours ago and they confirmed both of the above dates, although as noted in my post above, its possible they may start building the ST's before week 45, so that as soon as WTLP type approval is done, they can start shipping immediately. :flag:
