Does it drone at all on motorway runs?

It is slightly more noticeable, but I don’t do a great deal of long motorway drives so it wasn’t something which affected my decision to have it done.

If you sit at 70-80 then there’s very little difference.

You've inspired me to get some myself, not a huge price to pay either!
Honestly was very surprised at the price when you look around online.
They're normally twice that price from most of the sellers I've seen.

Thanks for that. I'll have a go later today and stick a few pics up.
Easy to remove, if you pull from the top outer corner, with you facing the rear..... I’ll send you a video.

Here’s how to remove

Hope it makes sense.

Cheers to Titchy, that really couldn't have been easier.....job done.
Bit heart in mouth as it so seems like you're gonna break something but works a treat. I was bound to break the glass if I'd tried that way. Forum at its best gentlemen !!!!

Had the 280 serviced and MOT today. Also LSD oil change and Air Con Service. All went through ok which is good but the invoice was no where near as much as I thought it would be.

The only thing I can think of is that they did a minor service instead of a major one. Not a problem really, the only thing that would have been done is changing the spark plugs. Anyone know when these should be done?

Treated my 300 to a nice wash this afternoon, only for Mr Weather to decide he wanted to undo my hard work

Looking clean! How is the res-delete working out? You mentioned on another page that you were having issues with it.

It’s perfect now thanks mate. Just had a little issue when it was first fitted as the garage hadn’t sealed it properly. It sounds how it should have sounded out of the factory now..!

So... Decided to take the quick route to lowering by banging my car against the sidewalk on a corner, first rear and then front.

2 destroyed wheels, broken control arm and let's see what else.
Insurance covers it, but not the nicest way to start your birthday...

Road was wet and I managed to save the front but there was just not enough space to pull the rear out :(

New gloss black mirror casings arrived today £48 for the pair delivered from Caffyns Seat. Well pleased.
Just have to fit them now. Anyone done this ? Any tips ?

Did you find these online or give them a call for that price?

Thanks. Well this was a 4 year service and there is no sign of them on the parts list on the invoice. I’ll call them in the morning

Went back down to the dealership to ask why the plug weren’t changed, couldn’t answer me. Checked their service guide and say they should have been done at 40k miles... a year ago.

I give up
