Other half’s brother has done it for me whilst she’s at her mothers. Saves me a job!

Nice 1 what did they use? It's even better when you don't have to do it yourself lol

I’m not sure as to what he used tbh, I knew he’d done his own car and he’s a mechanic so trusted him to do a good job of it.

I’ll ask the Mrs later and report back!

Clutch bearing went today, awful noise! New clutch to be fitted sometime next week for £400 which is decent, two bus mechanics will be doing the fitting

They recommend not bothering doing the flywheel, yes it’s good to do it but they’ll check the condition.

Had a remap booked next week for the 8th, should be ready before then but hoping they’ll let me move the slot, at-least I’ll be on a fresh clutch for the remap.

Are you going for an upgraded clutch or will the stock one be ok.

How did you go about doing the alloys? I quite like the stock alloys on mine just want them in black or grey. Plasti-dip, spray, powder coat?

Nice, really like the stereo... Im now looking into that! Never thought of swapping in a standard unit.

I use dental floss to remove badges, then a glue remover to get rid of whats left.

That’s a shame, must have been hard to part with. We’re a two car household with the other half having a family friendly car, I do a lot of driving for work though but we’ve considered having the one car before now.

Financially it will make more sense for you, maybe you can get a cheap project car for the weekends.
