Welcome to one of my morning 12hr shift get up times. Up at 4am quick 30min blast to work on quiet empty roads means I arrive with a smile on my face

Have a great day all

I was up and on my way to work at 05:30.
Gonna be a long day, and I'm not in the best of moods now reading the past 4 days of posts. Hello to the fellow Peterborough person on here.
Hope you all have a great day and no overheating happens for all...even the MK2/3 lot.

Just got home, had a great day.

First meet for me was a success I'd say and I'll be up for anything of the sort in the future.

Disappointed that there wasn't the cupra bike...

Looking forward to some pictures from someone who knows what they're doing haha

Cheers

All. Thanks for making it a great day today. Really glad you could make it and great to see you all and your cars. Also thanks to all who helped out on the stand. Special mention to Chester without whom we would all likely have melted. He sheltered us and fed us lovely cookies!

Saw a yellow MK2 Leon FR on a trailer on the motorway hard shoulder. Hope it wasn't someone from here!

Cheers,

Scott

Had a great day....despite forgetting sunblock...lol...thanks tothe superstar that loaned me some.....now you are all waiting for results from the carbon clean....it has definately made a difference ...the power delivery is a lot smoother and feels better on set off too..on getting home sat ticking over and was noticeably quieter and seemed to purr....will keep an update over next few months...but so far was well worth the cost...

What an absolute scorcher of a day. It was very relaxed and was great to meet some more members. Shame about all the red flags on track but that's what happens at these events. And glad I could provide some much needed shade from gas mark infinity!

Here's some pictures from the day (click the picture for the album):

Great pictures Chester thanks. Not sure who that weirdo is hugging the R. Should have shooed him off the stand.

Cheers

Good work on the photos! This is what happens when you have a proper camera and not one in a phone lol The Gazebo was a life saver! maybe purchase one for the next one so we can fit all the extra people we will get arriving... hint hint

Looks as if you had an awesome time but does look as if you needed some more mk2’s, give me a year and I’ll have mine show ready
Yes indeed we do need more MK2's, there's plenty of other models we had none of so maybe grab some of them next time

Great pictures Chester thanks. Not sure who that weirdo is hugging the R. Should have shooed him off the stand.
Your finest moment with your new love haha

No worries, us IT need to stick together. It's all about 18 degrees today, none of this sun rubbish.

Tks to all at the Donington meet on Sunday. Was good to put names to faces and chat about cars and the club.

Tks Chester for the cookies and mini marque.:1st: My head and nose were only a light shade of red by the time I got home and not glowing if we hadn’t of had somewhere to hide from the sun[B)]

Scott for the water supplies, stickers and the Cupra r bicycle, plus the rest of the guys for a warm welcome to my first meet.

Would be great if we didn’t have to wait a whole year for the next meet:think:
