Reckon it woild be a safe bet to add heko deflectors without adding excessive noise?

There’s a thread somewhere that made me buy my Heko deflectors - someone had put a strip of black silicone along the top of the deflector where the window would sit in the deflector and it get rid of the noise.

Good to know, did that work for you?

It’s only noticeable at motorway speeds, but it sounds like the windows just aren’t closed properly.

Hmmm, I’m on the motorway every weekday you’ll have to let me know how it is after using sealant. Love the look of the deflectors but comfort is important.

I wrapped my badges a few days back. I now think the car looks as aggressive as it should do from the front. It's a pain in the ass to do unless you're very good with wrap Being the 3rd time I've used the stuff it's still tricky to get right. It's a good 5ft mod though, more of a proof of concept to make sure I like the black so I might paint them down the line. Happy to say the car is now chromeless on the exterior.#DeathToChrome

Looks good, did you do it in gloss black wrap? Might be an option as I don’t want to plastidip as it’s difficult to get a gloss black finish. I don’t want to paint as it’s a right faf and very time consuming.

Ya its gloss black. I've used plasti dip before but never used the glossifier with it which is supposed to give a good enough gloss finish. The wrap is fairly time consuming too, if you're picky about it like I was you could easily spend 2 hrs getting it right.

I’ve used vinyl wrap before and know as to what a nightmare it is, the problem with paint is that I’d need a full day of it then I’d have to drive the car in between coats.

Cheers lad, she's getting there slowly. Follow me on Instagram if you want to keep up with the planned changes for wheels, exhaust etc.

Considering having my wheels done in the two tone black. Mine are the standard two tone titanium at the moment but the black looks awesome.

On the thread about wheel spacers somebody had a black leon with the black wheels and it looked nice.

After a couple of days driving you can’t see that my wheels are two tone anymore because of the brake dust

Plastidipped the bottom of the front bumper.
Put 7 coats on it, and had some peel as I took away the paper / masking tape.
Used a ting paint brush to touch it up.
Happy with it apart from the one main blotchy part, but for my first time ever using the stuff I enjoyed it :)

Next is to buy and attach (somehow) the TRC Splitter

Looks well lad. In future try and remove the newspaper and tape while it's still wet and tacky. If you peel the tape while it's wet it tends to tear along the seams better.

Thanks :)
I had thought of this after :cry:
But if i was doing multiple coats and waiting around 10 minutes between each, is it not the same as it would already be dry from the first 5/6 coats?
Either way that's my plan if I need to re-do it :)
