I'm quite hopeful at the moment mate.Hmmm mine was fully loaded, including options like SS, High Nav, and camera. If that's all scrubbed I will be cancelling. Let's see what pans out, I don't know if VW is in a better place or not.
Got told today the car I ordered in February which doesn't have a build week yet I won't get any earlier than October. Someone at seat doesn't like me

What joy do people get when trying to get info from lease brokers about factory orders. Obviously they have your money once the order is placed so isn’t in their interest to actually do any more work for you.
The broker set me up with Leaseplan with a delivery estimate of October, since then I have asked a couple of questions but they have not been forthcoming with any answers. Does anyone know If I contact Leaseplan directly will they deal with me or pass me back to the broker?
I would have preferred to go direct but it’s a matter of price this time round. I will contact them and find out Monday.I go through VWFS direct so I don't know.
But it couldn't hurt to ask
They seem quite helpful from their FAQ

Why not just speak to the supplying dealership? What joy do people get when trying to get info from lease brokers about factory orders.
The broker won’t tell me who the dealer is or can’t and I will see if leaseplan will give me the details on Monday. CheersWhy not just speak to the supplying dealership?
SEAT don't supply cars directly to finance companies/leasing companies/brokers, so every PCH/BCH transaction goes through a dealership. If you ask a broker for an update they have to ask the retailer, adding to any number of factors that contribute to the delay in the information getting back to you, the customer...
If only the main dealers I spoke to could have got anywhere near the leaseplan priceWhy not just speak to the supplying dealership?

The broker, dealer or leaseplan won't give you any info however the saving I made over dealer prices more than made up for the lack of info.If only the main dealers I spoke to could have got anywhere near the leaseplan price
I have also been set up with lease plan, but just waiting it out as whenever I ask for info they just say they will be in touch if anything changes. What joy do people get when trying to get info from lease brokers about factory orders. Thanks for this, I will make a few calls later but doubt I will get anywhere. Will just sit it out and one day it will arrive.I leased my 280 through a broker & LeasePlan, I found it hard to get any meaningful updates out of either but luckily the broker told me that the supplying dealer was Marshalls of Leicester. Once I started speaking with them I made progress, the monsoon grey car I originally ordered was going to take ages but they found an Ice Silver car with same spec in the country so I jumped on that and saved 4 months additional wait, I ended up really liking the colour too which was an added bonus.
I leased my current 290 through Snows Seat in Poole/VWFS and I must say the whole process was a lot easier - not only would they beat the dealer prices back in 2016 but I knew the exact status of the build all the way through and the car arrived early. As a result I've ordered a 300 through the same dealer which I'm hoping to get in a couple of weeks - after reading this though I will be calling them tomorrow to make sure it really is a 300 and not another 290....
