Hello,
I nearly ordered a Seat Ibiza FR in Cyprus, but in the last moment (after they quoted a price to me with the options I wanted and some discount), and despite what is shown in the price list they gave me, they told me that the Navigation System is no longer optional for the FR and that I have to buy it if I want the FR trim.
In their price list the Navigation System is shown as a €550 option and they said that they would give it to me for €400. Note that the "Media System Plus" with the 8" screen was already part of what I was getting. The only additional thing for those €400 is the Nav Sat.
Is the Sat Nav worth €400? I am already getting "Full Link" and I was planning to use Android Auto for navigation whenever I need such functionality (not very often). From what I read you have to keep paying to keep the maps of the Sat Nav updated, and even then they might not be as up to date as the ones of Google.
Anybody has compared Seat's Sat Nav with Android Auto/ Car Play? Any way I can justify this €400 "forced option"?
Thanks
