We placed the order with the dealer in July last yea( only got to Seat UK in Aug) the order was for a 1.4 with DSG sports tourer in FR spec, no extras, colour is Boheme purple. It's been a long wait.
Jeez, that's a hell of a wait. You must have the patience of a Saint! I hope it's worth it, can't wait for my sports tourer FR Diesel.

Its my daughters car on the mobility scheme. We was originally told it would be end of October, then went to December, then January,. It is a perfect fit for my daughter so it was difficult to change and look for another make. On the up side is an 18 plate and the slight change in spec for the FR. Trouble is now she has been called up to change from DLA to PIP so the way things have been going with the Government she could get it took away. preparing for a fight.
Ah I see, I know some people that have changed from DLA to PiP, and I know they won't take your car until a decision has been made, which can take a few months.

World Spirit docked at Sheerness at 9am this morning. Hoping my car is also on that ship (week 11 build).

The build week cannot be determined from when you ordered the car. You need to speak to the supplying dealership (or SEAT Customer Services as seems to be the way everyone on here wants to do

Also had notification that vehicle has arrived at uk port, registered and assigned a registration, nothing offensive though!!

Depends on the port.
Most of our stuff comes in at Sheerness, so as the ships usually dock on a Friday and get unloaded into Saturday it can often be Monday (or even Tuesday sometimes) before the system is updated.
I assume that as the same ships dock and are unloaded at Grimsby and Tyne on a week day the updates would come through more quickly...
Thanks for that Scrogg. Car is at Sheerness now anyway. Im hoping it'll get to them quickly and i can collect next weekend.

The ship is already on its way to grimsby just now. So seemed a quick turn around since this morning. Glad they don't fanny about.

I take it they don't have to registered as they land at the port and can be registered much later on. I am.hopeing mine it on that ship up.to Grimsby but not sure. Could well still be at Barcelona.

They can't be registered until they reach UK Port (DVLA do not allow cars to be registered before they are actually in the country) but other than at the end of a month when they are chasing a target it is almost unheard of for any to be registered before they have actually arrived at the supplying dealership.
Heard today that mine is on 'World Spirit' which is currently waiting to dock at grimsby. Dealer said should be at the delaership by end fo next week, ready to collect mid week after. I was build week 12 for anyone interested if their car might be on same ship.
