Has anyone managed to change the maxidot background on a facelift FR to the Cupra carbon one?

Plenty guides for the prefacelifts which none of seem to work on the facelift.

@nokiauk - went and checked that and location has access.

@theoldboy - Looks like that may be the fault then, I have got the permanent red light but nothing is blinking. I imagine the SEAT media can see the dongle because of the physical connection. Will do some more BT research and contact them through the app as you suggest.

Reporting back that I've been cheered by the warranty claim procedure, so far. The dongle was returned to Lithuania last Thursday and I've just been informed that a new unit is on its way and I should use it with all the current codes and credits.. Got in touch through the conversation page on the app, where there was an immediate response. Asked me to check a couple of things along the lines you had already suggested and then requested it be sent back to them. Must say that they were very helpful, kept in regular touch and dealt with impressive speed. One point worth mentioning; they asked me for an Order No. but on checking back I could only trace a PayPal acknowledgement on the purchase - nothing from Voltas, only an email to confirm my email address. I still had the package they had sent, so sent them an image of that and the PayPal invoice. Seems strange that there seems to be no Sales Note from them but I can't find anything. On the understanding that the dongle arrives in the next couple of days or so, I award a big thumbs-up.

Dont know as I am pre facelift, just been asked the question on another Seat car and they normally follow the Leon.

Depends what you want to do.

Its a nice tool that lets you make lots of changes to the car but if you just want to have a few changes made then look at Carista or ask somebody local you to do them for beer credits.

Its a very good tool, like all apps it has its issues but does most of what VCDS does at a cheaper price.

For the 30 odd quid it is (Or was when I got it) I think it's worth having. Or as oldboy says try and find someone local with it that will help for tokens.

It's good for making little changes that actually make quite a difference.

We are trying to change values for cold using this

Modify grades warning of possible danger ice
With this mod, you can change temperatures warning of possible danger of ice.
1 - Module 17 - Code Box instruments- (25327)
2 - Adaptation
3 - Select - Outside temperature
4 - Search option - P exit temperature ice warning
5 - Modify the desired value: 6 ° C Default
6 - Search option - P ice warning entry temperature:
7 - Modify the desired value: 4 ° C Default

And its saying this code is not correct (but it does work on pre facelift cars.

Replacement dongle arrived today and is up and running; so must report that I am very happy with the conversation process within the app and the Voltas response to the fault in the Bluetooth operation. Although there was no reason or explanation given they couldn't have handled it any better.

Red light in all driving modes
With this modification, the lights of the doors will always be red in all driving modes.
