Anyone able to tell me when the interval is for a cam belt change on this car?

My service book has no information on it and my searches on the net seem to bring up various answers...

Car is just 4years old with 65k miles.

Thanks

Tom

Lots of conflicting stuff online but it’s 5 years (or 122k miles I think)

Reading the manual for the EA288 TDi motor that was posted on here the quoted interval is 210,000km ( or 120,000km in harsh environment countries )

That is around 131,000 miles ( or 75,000 miles in harsh environment )

There is no age interval quoted for changing the belt.

Not sure I would be happy leaving a belt so long between changes.

They're dishing out 5 years warranty atm, so it would seem 5 years is a good shout.

Notice the last paragraph

The customer failing to act as soon as it became apparent following on an advisory or reported defect made aware to them, that has a direct impact on the cambelt kit components and related parts, or not allowing the required repairs to be carried out as soon as possible.

So - basically - as soon as the stealer suggests you have it changed - if you don't have it done - its not covered.

Same car, same age, last service at 100k.
Dealer said it's due at 120k which will be sometime in summer for me
