On Tuesday I had the better half drop my alloy plus pot hole blown tyre off at a local guy I've used with great results in the past. Decided to screw the cost and get the second of my Michelin ps4s fitted (the first coming in early December from a similar scenario). Now my partner was told at first "no problem we can get it in by lunch and you can pick it up" I was then told in the afternoon they couldn't get me a tyre till Wednesday and couldn't get that tyre at all "they might of stopped making it we can get you a pilot sport three". I opted to just get a budget piece of **** stuck on while I waited for the inevitable restocking of the ps4s. I then checked black circles out of curiosity who where able to deliver the Michelin pilot sport 4 s on Thursday to the same garage who had just told me that tyre essentialy no longer existed.

So Thursday rolls round and I get the call from black circles that they might not make my am delivery slot and pm can be anywhere up to 5pm so they were wanting to push my fitting to Friday. So what's one more day right. Well today my partner picked it up no problems. I go to get it from her boot and it's only a bloody pilot super sport they've put on it. My partner is most upset at not noticing this but as someone who herself just takes whatever cheap rubber is in the shop I can't really blame her for assuming a Michelin super sport is just another name for a Michelin pilot sport 4. So a bit of back and fourth with black circles and the garage and the correct tyre will be delivered Monday. To their credit I've been told to feel free to run around on the super sport till then. Don't know if I'll be told to just keep it or not but fingers crossed.

To finish on a question I noticed the ps4s are marked at purchase as reinforced is this something that adds any kind of durability? as I think back now the pothole that cracked my allow also in December didn't leave a mark on the pilot sport 4s that was attached at the time. And yes to all the smart arsed among us I should maybe just stop hitting pot holes.

Maybe you should stop hitting pot holes. But you should definitely learn how to use paragraphs. I nearly ruptured my eye socket reading that.

I also had a similar problem, i hit a pot hole on xmas eve and i could not get a tyre garage that was open on the only day i was off (xmas day) and needed my car to get to work. I gave my dad my car to go get ps4 fitted from black circles while i used his car. When i came home from work i found that it was ps3 were put on. I did email black circles and told me i could go back and get ps4 fitted but i have just kept the ps3 on as they are similar anyway.

6 weeks after getting my first brand new car hit a pot hole and totalled a tyre and wheel. Cost me a fortune.

You have good tyre pressure?

I will change my 19" to 18" because 19" looks good but in daily usage is very...

Golf GTI have 17" factory rims.

I'd be curious to try a set of 18s or 17s to see the difference in ride. Don't find the 19s bad and did just get all four refurbished as a Christmas present to myself so I'm somewhat committed.
