the one on the website the same one on the policy email
i thought windscreen excess was £75 but it has suddenly gone upto £125
The windscreen excess is £75 if you use the approved repairer. If you arrange your own repairer the excess is £125. You're not the first to be confused by it - I'll see if the insurer can make it clearer on their docs.
I suspect that's in the endorsement section but I'm not sure. Please can you PM me your real name and postcode and I'll arrange a new Certificate if it is wrong.

Winter Tyres and Chris Knott
Hi, I'm often asked on club forums (and Facebook groups) about switching to winter wheels/tyres and whether an insurer will charge extra if you do.
As it's getting to that time of year again I thought I'd just reassure any Chris Knott clients that the insurers we use don't usually charge for this. However, if you are thinking of swapping your wheels we do have to log when you make the switch and then again when you go back to normal - so please let us know on 0800 917 2274.
