what did you and your mk3 leon do today

Dropped by my dealer after work to diagnose a vibration from the engine. It's a pulsing vibration that can be heard in the cabin and felt through the pedals. Really helpful technician reckoned the air con compressor clutch has failed so it's being replaced along with its first service next month.

Got a EPC light during my drive home today. Stop start error. Loss of power until 3k rpm. Eco mode was actually more responsive than sport mode today. I'm really worried now. Although the car is still in warranty but it will be under stealer s sympathy whether I can get it fixed in an affordable price.

Got Door ding fixed

Got my door ding fixed by chips-aways. Took them 30 min and was around 100 quid. Cannot tell where it was. Money well spend

Did the DSG oil change, with loan of drive, ramps & jacks from father in law. Super silky smooth now - like a new car!
Also achieved 46.9mpg over 200 miles! Not bad for a 370bhp beast.

35k on the clock. Should be done every 40k, but no harm in doing early.

Easy peasy, watch videos on youtube for method. I'd probably rate it two spanners in the Haynes difficulty scoring.

What oil did you use?

'official' stuff from seat, and new filter & o ring. £116!

Buy 5 litres, they'll try to sell you 6, but doing top fill method 5 is enough

Over the weekend the car got an oil and filter change, wheels off to clean and alloy seal inside and out for winter then thorough wash and detail with final polish using Bilt Hamber polish. Looks better than when I got it 6 months ago.

Went to local tyre place with a puncture. something through sidewall so new tyre required.
Want to move to PS4's eventually but given the wear on the rers currently just went for a replacement Conti Sport 5.

Yesterday picked up a Grey One from a friend. It was on 3day spa(detailing) treatment. Full inside service with deep cleaning seats,dressle on all plastic,leather. Outside washed with geyon bath+,layer of glaze and two layers of wax. Geyon nano is also on all windows. And valetpro on exterior plastic.
Wheels are already ceramic coated,so it was only cleaned.
Result?
