Decided to give fitting a GFB Diverter Valve a go...Was a lot easier than I thought!

Make sure you do the bolts up tight! Fitted one a few months back. Just checked - one bolt missing completely, the second undone, but not gone and the third up tight..... luckily...

Changed spark plugs to temperature range 9 (NGK ones from OpieOils) because I have a stage 2. Wow! what a difference. Such a smooth progression up the rev range with no backing off.

Cheers - will do! Went for a drive after and checked once the engine had cooled, but will check again tomorrow after a longer commute.

Didn't really notice any noise difference though :(

Sorry to ask dumb question but i keep seeing Turbo Muffler Delete and these dump valves, I appreciate if you want a sportier sound they are good (if you want the noise) but do they give any extra power to the car.

Just got back from devon so the 300 had a great run back to Derby very impressed with the overall performance. In comfort mode all the way due to her indoors watching me like a hawk and the kids in the back.
Car fully loaded with cases and usual holiday stuff and still achieved 38mpg at a steady 70mph and the odd foot slipped moments.
Luck as it they fell asleep for a brief time and the foot slipped more often and still aclerated well with a full loaded car.
Just keeping my eye on the postman now for a week in case I get any naughty boy letters !!!!!!!

No extra power per-se.
Lower spooling time for the turbo with the muffler delete, and a better DV holds the boost higher on the revcounter, specially if you're remaped.

Today I re-badged the car since the previous owner removed everything.
Red portion of the flag was faded so I sprayed it Teal in preparation for the change of color in the brake calipers

Do you have the part no for those plugs?

Purchased a set of brand new OEM VW Pretoria 19" today. Im in love with those rims. So light compared to OEM Cupra paperweights. Got them for a price I couldnt resist (sub £800).
