Does this work with DSG? If I rev normally in neutral, it only revs to 4K usually and then drops down. Some kind of safety feature or something...

Seat Leon Cupra 290 DSG Black Edition (Alor Blue)
Performance: Racingline OEM+ Stage One Mapping | Racingline R600 Intake | Racingline Turbo Inlet Pipe | Racingline Turbo Elbow | Racingline Muffler Delete | OEM NGK Audi RS7 Spark Plugs | 034 Motorsport Dogbone Mount
Interior: Koonlung K1S Dash Cam with BlackVue Power Magic Pro
Exterior: TRC Front Splitter | Foliatec Exhaust Paint Gloss Black
I have DSG not manual gearbox :)

DSG here too. The revs hold at 4k for a certain amount of time i believe before dropping back down if you dont launch in time

Well did it last Sunday actually but the proof only turned up yesterday. Yep, picked up my first speeding ticket after having a licence for 49 years. Well annoyed with myself as I spotted the guy from some way off, checked my speed was OK (only coasting at the time) but failed to adjust for a slight downgrade so had picked up a few mph by the time I was in range.

Took mine for a blast up the A84 and A85 to Oban today. Great fun!

Looking forward to doing the same journey when I get my fr in a few weeks. Sadly only a 1.4 but a big upgrade from my current 1.0 corsa. One day I might get a cupra if I can get insured on it :p

I'm coming from a 1.0 Fabia so the insurance has been a bit of a shock... It's doubled roughly.

My insurance is roughly £750 a year for the 1.0 corsa and now it will be £1000 on the leon. I've been driving for four years, four years no claims but only 21 which is the biggest issue. Insurance these days is a joke for younger drivers.

That makes me feel a bit better about mine... roughly £1000 too and I'm 26.

Turned off start/stop and turned down the soundaktor to 20% in my first foray into obdeleven. I'm tempted to turn the sound off completely as I have actually grown to the raw engine note.

Not today, but over the weekend I fitted my red LED footwell lights (Not an easy 501 swap on the facelift unfortunately) got her washed at the local eastern Europeans (im aware this is blasphemy to almost all car guys but i simply dont get as much time as i used to to clean it the way i want it) and then I gave her a quick going over with meguiars quick detailer and finished with a quick coat of meguiars liquid wax and a hoover out!!

Got a link to the red LED's you bought for the footwell?
Does it integrate into the door lights? (red for sport/white for normal etc)

Try eBay item number 272136845154, can't post a link from eBay app. They're actually to fit an a1 but only ones I could find that were red and not white.

Mine is the facelift so has interchangeable led colours in the doors and the footwell leds in there original are circuit board mounted, not 501 bulbs or similar.
