New cupra 300 just arrived looks fantastic and just had a bit of a play quick as f**ck . Trouble is no manual left and not got a clue what does what !! Tried the sat nav saying no data to display is there a sad card which you should have

Thats weird there is no manual, mine came with one and there should be an SD card in the glove box in Slot one.

Used Snows Southampton for a few years and have to say they are normally very good with customer service. Shame to hear you haven't had the same, like Upthere has said it's still one of their cars.

Love the colour and ST is definitely the best shape.

Yes no spare key either delivery bloke said they send it later ???? No manual in the glove box as you would expect and like you total shite service from seat. Driver smelt like a yak, and didn't have a clue about the car just gave me the keys and off he went. Worry is if he does have the spare key and comes back later !! Mi d you would smell him coming

All items now recieved after driving to Doncaster to fetch them didn't need much of a excuse to give it a run Lol. Set the cruise control to a nice steady 75mph and achieved 38mpg really impressed for such a car and that's also playing with the odd tail gaiting bmw drivers . Put a smile on my face when you just gave them a wave and then floored it bye bye see you later Lol.

Overall really impressed with my purchase

That's impressive, I had mine on a 30 mile dual carriageway commute this morning which, to be fair, is very up and down (a303) and in comfort with cruise set to 74 it returned 32.1mpg.

How far was your commute? Also, I notice in individual mode you can set the engine to ECO mode which coasts etc.

Had it set on comfort mode and it was about a 150 mile round trip M1 + M18 very quite on the roads so no stopping and starting

Never had DSG before and wondering about this coasting but only in certain modes?
Coming off the gas pedal going downhill in my Gtd is where I gain my 60 mpg to work.

Proper jealous of the new cars here and I've got another 2 months to wait!!

Congrats to Jord and hitchy.

Lovely looking vehicles and may you both have many, many carefree miles (try to avoid the speed cameras eh?)

Cheers buddy, coming from a 130BHP scirroco its fair to say its rapid. only done about 200 miles in it so far.

Really pleased with the colour of the blue ST. I'm also amazed at how much attention it draws. Yesterday i had some fool right on my bumper whilst i was joining the motorway, (Fiesta ST) we were joining at about 30, its amazing if you plant your foot, just how quickly the speed warning set to 90 pings... the ST was literally still where i left him. Just set the cruise to 72, let him catch up and then he was hell bent at going past around the 90 mark.

haha i got told off for cleaning it the day after i picked it up.

Ah so it's not just me! My OH reckons I've spent more time cleaning than driving so far (She may just have a point though).

First 'proper' clean yesterday. Clayed, polish and seal.

Gave the Cupra a proper wash today and Wax. turned out nice and the Blue is so deep and looks brilliant in the sun. didn't wax until this evening as it was too hot. anyhow, here's a cheeky pic.

Also, i find that whilst i haven't done many miles so far (250) i have had on two occasions now people try to race me and insist on overtaking / flying by. anyone else find this?

How is the colour for showing dirt? Alright to leave it a while between washes?

I haven't had anyone try and race me yet. The child in me wishes they would.

Colour is actually really good for dirt, you notice the larger flecks but it's not like a white where it look awful real quick.

I must admit, when the BMW that raced past me yesterday I was so tempted to plant the foot and do a fly by. Had the wife in the car and the dog in the boot so didn't do it.

How you finding your car??

Wise choice I think, the colour might not show up dirt but sure as hell will show up dog sick!

Loving the car so far. Bimbles around town nicely. Sat on the motorway from Southampton to Inverness a few weeks ago and saw over 40mpg then when the mood takes it can tear up a B-road as good as any sports car. Booked a track day at Castle Combe next month to give it a chance to stretch its legs.
