Boot Gas Struts

Hi.

I have just fitted the above to my MK3 but the boot is not popping up when i hold the boot release on my fob.

Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

Does it open if you lift the boot without using the release handle when you press the boot button as you may have to program this function using obeleven or carista

I did this on my 184, changed struts over, didn't have to reprogram anything, just hold the boot button on fob down a little longer than previously.

I have Leon MK3 SE Tech Pack.

The boot releases but the struts don't push the boot up.

Sounds to me like you haven't fitted strong enough boots struts if it won't even push the lid up once you have opened the latch

Ones that work ( on a 5 door anyway) are Stabilus model 017468.

These are the exact ones you want, fit great, raise the boot perfectly will fit 3 or 5 door
