It works like any other start/stop but it appears to use the front sensor when in traffic. It may just be a coincidence but I tested it on my way to work this morning and 9 times out of ten it restarted when the car in front started to move off without me touching anything.
I know the system will restart the car itself under certain conditions and its done that too. It just seems to do it a hell of a lot when the car ahead begins to move.

I don't have ACC and have noticed my Stop/Start cutting in as I slow down to stop, rather than once I've actually stopped. It's jumping in far more eagerly than my 280's ever did and I don't like it! Sometimes find it cuts in when I really don't want it to and can see this catching out the unwary or unfamiliar driver - tempted to deactivate it with my obd11 but do like the feature when it works properly in heavy traffic so have held off for now....

What is problem dude?

I almost hit 3000 km with mine so far I am impressed with power of the car and comfort for long trips. One day I spent 6 hours and 47 minutes, didn't have problems with back pain or something like that. I hope it will stay like this, really impressed with whole car. Only what I didn't liked that driver seat is full electrical and passenger not.

Today I had little test on motorway and I hit 270 km/h without any problems. I thought it will go around 250-260. It could go more but too many cars on road.

Cars making a knocking noise coming from the drive train, visible oil on my drive train

Mines been treated like a king 3rd set of Pirelli Pzeros, brand new set of Brembo pads all the way round. Detailed body work and ceramic wax. Regular oil change and system bled out.

Wait until you hit 300 or 180mph

Vag technician found it on a call out just waiting for the lengthy process of the blaming game. It is under warranty but let's see what happens ay.

I know it does don't know if it does when stock though, just remember to have enough road to slow down

Hope they will fix it soon under warranty.I always threat my cars like a king,so as you do to yours Cupra.
Yeah problem is road to do max speed, but in this car breakes are insane. And when I wash car, usually take uniwash and spray into brake calipers to remove brake dirt.

How's everyone enjoying their new cupras? I'm hoping mine is available next weekend

Great, had it nearly a week, done 800 miles. Drinks petrol, and despite having two cup holders, you can only fit one in at a time, so i've been drinking less coffee on my 3.5 hours trips.

What kind of MPG have you been getting, but then again if we was was worried about economy I'm sure we wouldn't have ordered a cupra lol

The best fuel economy so far I got 7,6 km/l but usually becouse I am hard on gas pedal, its around 10 km/l.Around 400 km to 550 km I got from 50 litres. Its hard to drive this car like normal one,it always asks for hitting gas pedal. But really low consumption you can get if you dont drive it like a maniac. No need to drive it like a granny.Few days ago I did follow my brother for around 50 km and we were driving 50-100 km/h when I looked and computer there was 6,7 km/h.But like I said its hard to drive it like that :) I do have 3000 km now and already front tyres are 2 mm shorter :D

Have done 3 trips each 3.5 hours. Average around 33-34mpg with mostly steady motorway driving with a few 'sports mode making loads noises' driving moments.

Having read many different opinions of break-in's I went conservative and haven't been past half throttle (apart from one time).

Full tank at 125.9p getting me around 320 miles.

After 7k miles (300 4Drive), i get an average of 33mpg - so one full tank goes exactly 400miles. The most miles i have every managed from one tank is 421 - this resulted in a 54.6l fill up - which surprised me as how can 4.6l exist in the pipes!

Looks very good, I have so far not got below 9l (26mpg). With Octavia TDI I hade 6-7L average (39-33). I would say not bad at all. In the city, it will take 25-26mpg usually.
