There are spring kits listed " for models with sports suspension" and thus it gives the required drop as mine did.

I have no point to further convince you.. This is what Eibach said when I contacted them.
Our cars have different rear suspension therefore require different type of springs so they cant give you the same ones as for a 1.4 or 1.6 but note the drop on all models is the same

Measurement from ground to centre of front wheel arch lip before Installation was 680mm on both sides.
After was 645mm. The measurements were checked . Don't have the rear measurement to hand.

Quote "I seriously doubt it will ride any better on eibach springs than standard, because you havnt changed the actual dampers"

To quote Eibach..

"The Eibach Pro-Kit is the perfect answer for most popular street cars.

It’s our legendary spring system that dramatically improves both a vehicle’s performance and appearance. Pro-Kit lowers your car’s centre of gravity, reducing squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nosedive under braking."

Did I get that wrong as well ??

Well done. top marks for reading the side of a box.
Do you believe everything that people write on the packaging to help them sell the products then?
By the way what engine is in your FR?

It's off Eibach' website. 1.8tsi. DTUK box , Forge carbon MQB intake kit and revo turbo muffler delete.
I just don't get why you have to be so negative.

Are you saying that none of the performance product sellers should be believed then ? All marketing spin to make us buy ?
Get a grip. That's what these forums are supposed to be for ,to share each others experience and knowledge to buy the best available to upgrade and modify our cars. Not to pick at posts and rubbish others opinions and likes. I've said all I need to say so I'll leave you to get on with your rant...

The drop that is stated on eibach Web site it's actual drop from the current high that the selected vehicle has from factory. Si when it's say 30/35 it will be 30/35. Why would manufacturer stated this drop when there is hardly any 1.8 or 2.0 non FR Leon?

To make the best of these mods you should probably consider a bespoke remap as the intake and exhaust wont be doing too much (other than noise) with the DTUK box as it only alters fuelling/boost/ignition based on a pre determined map which was written for standard cars. Personally I'm not convinced that the intakes do anything at all other than increase noise, but a remap might prove me wrong.

Was that positive enough for you?

To be fair, I was just giving an opinion on your post about wheels and on the pictures you posted about the drop of the springs you've fitted, that is the point of a forum - discussion.

To offer some balance, I thought leonisis's pictures were from before he had his springs put on. From the pictures posted with his new alloys, I can't tell that it's been lowered - it looks like a bog standard Leon with new alloys on stock suspension.

HAVING SAID THAT, leonisis is quite right that the Eibach kit offers a near-OEM ride if indeed he said that. They are a little harder but the pay-off is better body control.

Had them on my Polo ages ago.

Gave the Cupra wheels a few layers of sealer today. I thought it best to get some protection on them, British summers can be hard on your alloys..........lol

Below are some pictures of a wheel off my Cupra 280, I took these April this year. You can see the wheels are looking pretty good for three years old and all they ever had was Poorboys Wheel Sealant twice a year.......... :D
