If you're lucky it'll be raining and you won't have to worry at all! Always catches me out at car washes when I forget to turn them off haha

Checked the weather. It's going to be 20+ and sunny all week! Not sure how I feel about it.

Harder to hide scratches and dodgy paint work in sunlight! I went and looked at a car before leasing mine and flagged a good 5-10 issues with the bodywork because it had a lovely shine on it

If it's got the auto light switch it will have the auto wipers and as you said already had the led which is all part if the convenience pack. The auto dimming mirror should also look different u would imagine as it doesn't have the manual adjuster, would I be right in saying?

I didn't end up giving it a good look yesterday, but I'm collecting it tonight. I can't wait. :D

I've asked the dealer to not prep it in any way, except removing the suspension blocks obviously. I wanted everything left as it is, so the film over the interior perspex, covers on the seats, dust, and crap all over the car from transport. So I'll do a proper clean on Friday night and post some pics.

Been told my Leon will start being built June 12th. Any ideas as to when I could expect it with the dealer?

Sounds about right by my guesstimates.
Build 4-5 days, then a couple of days to get to the port.
Maybe a day, two days to load the ship.
Ships run regularly, but is 5-7 day sailing time, and they stop on the way too.
Then docking, offloading, 1-2 days. Transporter 1-2 days, PDI at dealer 3 days, bodywork-messing-up by valeters 30 seconds, and then ready for delivery day. That's 21 days but allow a few here and there for things like waiting for ships, etc.

My 2013 Leon was built in week 39 (w/c 23 Sep 2013). It was handed over to me on 13th October, so must have rolled straight out and onto the boat :)

Thanks all, so hopefully only 8 weeks later than scheduled...

Mine has taken just under 4 months to arrive at the dealer

I have copied this from another thread, it was for my 5 door FR 1.4 last year

Here is the timescale of my car if it is any help to those waiting for theirs (or soon to order one).

28.04.2016 - ordered
20.05.2016 - got build week
06.06.2016 - built
11.06.2016 - arrived in UK port but not the final destination
18.06.2016 - arrived at the final port
23.06.2016 - cleared customs and put into SEAT UK stock
24.06.2016 - car transporter to the Dealer
28.06.2016 - Dealer prepped and ready for collection

So exactly 2 months after order but took 3 weeks from build to be ready for collection

Apparently I was lucky to have it shipped in the same week it was built. Hope it helps.

My company car scheme quotes 20 weeks for a Leon. I plan on ordering mine in late October for a March delivery.

Probably been asked before but does anyone know the best way to bed a car in? Picking mine up later today. Also any handover tips? Cheers

Read it a story and a warm glass of milk.

That's a question that will raise huge debate but you should probably play it safe and follow the handbook which will say something about not exceeding x amount of revs till x amount of miles, others will tell you it's BS and the car will have been broken in during build but that choice is yours, I took it easy for the first couple of hundred then unleashed my diesel tank

Thanks I'll just read the handbook and stick to that best to play it safe, I can't understand the people who say they bed them in during build they physically don't have enough time to so that haha
