Some jerking on light acceleration, after front mount intercooler.

Hey guys, today I finally did front mount intercooler, but the thing is not yet finished is the sensor that is sitting in original intercooler (i suppose boost pressure sensor) car runs fine on high boost 1.4-1.5 bar
But when I tried to drive lightly, it kind of backfired and jerked.

Is this pressure sensor, must be attached into intercooler piping, or can it be left as it is.

On the cupra r like mine didn't have to disconnect anything electronic did you have to change the charge pipe

Everything is changed.
Only original is rubber hose that comes to the intake manifold where throttle body is.
And the sensor is where blue silicone 90° degree bend is on the left side.

Its a ARY engine, 1.8t 20v AWD Leon.

Only 1.8t without map sensor as standard are the older engines with throttle cable to intake manifold and 5 speed box. Agu ect ect. These engine's are Not fitted in the Leon cupra or cupra R of any year.
I guess you could maybe have it mapped out but why would you?
Running without the map sensor isn't going to be a good thing.

The car was mapped at most famous guy here in Finland, but I have no idea what way.

What is the damage can be done if without boost sensor?

Before car boosted peak at 1.65 bar, now only 1.5bar, but I think it is because front mount is like x4 bigger than original one.

Original one said pox, a month ago, and cracked bottom off :D

I would definitely put that sensor back on it can't regulate the air /fuel mixture perhaps it's overfueling
