It's the Haldex most of the VAG stuff has.

Basically runs in front drive all the time, until it detects slip - then - sends power to the back.

So it has the same balance as fwd but a lot more weight. If you like the traffic light GP though, it's great.

It's disappointing at best, they used to use awd back in the old cupras

The price so close to the S3 you'd think they could manage it, or take after the focus RS and have a setting for 70-30 power at the back to front on constantly. I test drove one 2 weeks ago and am considering it for me and my partners second car for a more practical size family car when the squid lets arrives.

I have 382 bhp on my mk3 cupra 290 and probably by the time summer hits it's gonna be 420 was hoping to sell at 3 year old for around 18k-22k and then but they new generation cupra

I do not struggle to get power down in dry conditions from 0-180 I have traction control kick in faintly. I go through pzeros every 4 months on the front but that only a £380 replacement.

I very rarely EVER EVER have the limited slip diff kick in unless on track and throttle it stupidly into a corner.

So that leaves it with, if I drive a car to the point of rally, have higher BHP, use it on track and road likes there's no difference. And still never hardly utilise the slip diff how if ever is this hadlex system going to be effective other than launch and snowy conditions for racing.

Excellent mate.

Which lease company did you use?

Notice yours is on P Zeros, hope mine comes on them and not Conti's!

Lovely, lucky man, I have 9 weeks to go :cartman: Result with the seats, enjoy ::flag:

I'm intrigued as to how some of you manage to find out build weeks, delivery dates, etc so far in advance. My dealer either can't or won't give me that sort of detail.

What periods are you guys getting between order, build and delivery?
