Album covers on media screen

AFAIK Spotify doesn't send album cover data so it won't work on any car.

Octavia, Golf and my Cupra was all with same iPhone 6 within a couple of days. The golf did have the Navigation Discovery Pro (the large bag), maybe it has better support.. ?!

Hi all just to say thanks for those links above, very useful!

I just got myself a leon with the easy connect system and was disappointed to discover initially that album covers would not display for all files playing through my sd card.

it now seems that the seat system cant handly album covers greater in size than 500x500 pixels. Im going to give this theory a test and see how it fairs.

I suspect that it will have an effect. So its been very helpful cheers!!

One thing I found was that non-square dimensioned art will work in the player as long as either vertical or horizontal is 300 pixels.

Works on mine

Works on my 280 ST from a mp3 or from an ancient ipod shuffle. Never tried Bluetooth. The car has all the packs. No idea how or why it works, but it does.

I think album art used to be a lot smaller on older devices. I Have a 2nd Gen ipod nano and the album art was... well nano as well
